16 Odd or Even

Happy Reading Time.

Angel's house.

Angel and her father came in at the same time, and her mother came to Angel and hugged her tightly. She is too scared for her daughter and worried about how her daughter would fall like this.

Angel feels so emotional again because of the way;

the way she acted towards her mother. It wasn't right at all and yet; she acted in a way that isn't even okay. She is already so scared from the scenario that happened before and it breaks her heart to see her mother like that.

Emma asked, "What! pass angel."

Angel's tears start to flow from her eyes. Her family is the only weakness she had and now she just feels vulnerable seeing her condition like this.

She's the reason for everything and it's something she doesn't know what the reason for things is. She feels so hurt and the tears don't stop at all no matter how hard she tries.

Emma knew something was wrong and that something is the worst and things aren't the way she ever wanted to find out. Sometimes it's hard to get through, but things never get good.

Emma in a motherly voice, "Angel! What happened, please tell me".

Angel knew better than to say that, to make her even tenser or get into more trouble, and that's something she doesn't want.

Angel controlled her tears and broke off the hug, then she replied, "I want to go to my room."

Emma knew Angel was someone. Whenever she felt bad, she showed her food shoulder because she didn't want others to see her pain. It's like she didn't want to show her pain.

It's so hard to get any emotions out of Angel.

Emma with a serious face, "I don't know, I think you need to act like this, it's a rude way you act Angel".

Angel replied, "Mum, you're stressing yourself out too much, don't worry about it, I'm fine, I just fell off the stairs."

Emma, in a mocking tone "I don't think you're fine, that's something you're not quite". Look at yourself first, do you look okay at all, seeing you like this I don't think so.

Angel gets anxious because she can't manage to hide things, and it's like she feels too much to even understand, but after a while, it's hard to lie to her parents, who can immediately tell if she's lying or not.

James comes and interrupts in between because he knows Angel isn't in the mood to say anything right now. It's not what he wants, for things to just get done, and so he wants to get things done, but wonderfully.

James then says, "I don't think you need to be researching something like that right now, that's a stupid thing to do Emma".

Emma said in an angry voice, "I'm stupid huh! I don't think you need to call me that when you act like that".

James sighs and says in a calm voice, "Angel, go to your room! I think you are tired; it will do you good for you to rest".

Angel nods her head and without paying any further attention to the conversation or answering, she tries to leave but falls to the floor for inquiring and then winces in pain.

Her father and mother immediately walk up to her and pull her into an upright position.

Her father carries her and walks with her towards the angel room.

Once there, he lays her across the bed and then says in a concerned voice, "I think it will be good if you rest now, we can talk about things afterward."

Angel nods his head and her father walks away after closing the door of the room.

Outside the room.

Emma is stressed about her daughter's condition.

Emma asks "What happened to her James, I see the marks on her face and you know how she is".

James takes Emma's hand in his and makes her sit down next to her on the sofa.

While sitting on the sofa holding her hands in his he politely and lovingly replies, "Emma, we both know how she is and that she is different".

Emma sighed and replied, "But it's not good to be so different. I'm fine! But the fact that she is different means that she can be like James".

James nods his head and in a serious tone "I knew for a fact that it wasn't okay and that she was indifferent which keeps her from everything".

Emma replies "You know James, at her age girls live with so much enthusiasm and they are so much interactive but look at her".

She doesn't even really interact with her parents.

At her age, kids make friends, but she doesn't have any. When I say something she always denies it no matter how I try to make her understand, it's not good at all.

James replied, "I know we have tried but we can't force her, she is our child".

If we force her, we can't get anything out of her. She needs time for that and we both know she won't be open.

If we force her, she will turn into even more of a shell. And that's not what either of us wants.

Emma this time in a calm tone, "I know that! Let's just hope for the best."

James smiles with a pleasant expression on his face "Yeah, let's stick with her, no matter how weird she is, but she makes us even and she loves us more than anything else".

Emma embraced him and replied, "Yes! I bet our angel is the best, and she loves us more than anything."

James hugged her back and he knew they are both stressed but it just doesn't matter what they both know she needs time for everything. They know she is suffering a lot but she never opens up and now the situation is only worse.

Love you all cupcakes.
