3 Chapter 2 Confession

Once 3 minutes are up,

[For those who have not join a group, you may leave the class during 1st and 4th period, those periods are for group only]

Chihiro was very scared at the face Takahata sensei are making now, this sensei is definitely a sadist!

1 male and 1 female stood up and left the class since they did not join any group. They had a very snobby and dissatisfied face, the male and female student look like a pair of delinquents, they might be son and daughter of a yakuza family.

[Now let's start the 1st period, sit with your group!]

Chihiro feels the chance to become friends with Kobayashi is getting higher. Then she moves toward Kobayashi's side while carrying her table.

[E-e..excuse me! S-should we join our tables?]

[Yeah, Tanaka-san where do you want to sit? My left or next to Ryan?]

[N-ne..next to Kobayashi-san!]

Chihiro speaks up with her whole courage, she feels like she is confessing her love to a boy.

[Pfff... Hey Tanaka-san! Which Kobayashi are you talking about? Me or Ryan? Well, now that I think about it, it will get more confusing later, just call me Rylie and call Ryan "Kobayashi-san"!]

Then Chihiro's cheek begin to blush again seeing Kobayashi chuckled, she thinks "ah... how can such a beautiful person giggle so cutely like that exist in the world! I must make her my friend no matter what! No wait, I can call her "Rylie", we are on our first name basis now! No, wait... I have to let her call me "Chihiro" so we can be on first name basis! If that happens then we are friends, right? Ahh.. I have to do it!" Then Chihiro gathers her courage again and speak.

[R-r..Ry..Rylie-san, please.. call... me... Chihiro]

[Yea sure, Chihiro-san so where do you want to seat?]

"Yes! Yes! YES!! I can't believe I did it! My luck today is infinite! Yes!!"

[E-erm, N..ne..next to... Rylie-san please!]

[Eh? Chihiro-san are you sure? You may not see Ryan yet, but he is very cute! You might fall in love at first sight! You won't regret it later sitting next to me, right?]

[Y..yes! I am very sure! Rylie-san is very beautiful and super smart! I wanted to be your friend since I last saw you! So, I want to sit close to Rylie-san, I hope we can be together forever!]

Due to one after another excitements lead to Chihiro blurt out whatever she thinks, which she never did that before. "Wait, what did I just say? Noooo... that totally sound like a confession! Sounded like I want to be Rylie-san's girlfriend! What is wrong with me today? No way! What should I do? Will Rylie-san have creeped out? Will she think I am disgusting? Will she think I am a pervert? No!! My chance is ruined! My stupid brain! What should I do?"

While Chihiro is thinking, her face change from bright red tomato to very pale porcelain. She had a very dread expression, it looked like her whole family is murdered.

[pfff...hahaha... Chihiro-san was that a confession? Hahaha... Why are you this cute?]

Rylie laugh brightly then speaks with a slight smirk teasing her.

"What? Rylie-san didn't think I am disgusting? She is not creeped out? Wait, she did not mind what I said? Normal people probably already looking at me with disgusted face...And... Rylie, laughing face is so beautiful! Oh, I feel like being blessed by the goddess, I finally found my purpose in life! It is to meet Rylie! I will dedicate my whole life for Rylie just so I can see her laugh like that, this is my conviction! Wait, did she just say I am cute?"

A wave of happiness washed away all Chihiro's worries clean, she feels being reborn. Her heart beating so fast due to excitement. For few seconds, Chihiro feels like ridding an emotional rollercoaster, from feeling hollow to fulfilled, from misery to ecstatic.

[N..no.. i..i...]

Chihiro's brain stopped working again, she doesn't know how to reply Rylie's question

[Chihiro-san, do you mean that what you said were all lies?]

Rylie knitted her brows slightly, looks like troubled goddess, but still very cute and beautiful. She wanted to tease Chihiro a bit.

[N..no! I meant every word I…I.. said! I just..just..don't want Rylie-san to hate me because I think I am in love with Rylie-san!]

Chihiro then again blurted out what she thinks without filter "Gaaa, noooo! What did I just blurt out again? This time it is full confession! I think I really love her, because my heart is pumping so fast! But, damn it! I shouldn't have spoken those words! Now I become a weird girl who confess her love at first sight in the class to another girl! I am finished! Please don't hate me, Rylie! Please don't hate me, my goddess!" Chihiro thinks while looking at her feet, face red as tomato, then slowly rises her head to see Rylie's face for probably the last in her lifetime. But, what Chihiro see is different from what she expects.

Kobayashi Rylie's eyebrows are curved in full arc, and her eyes are so bright that you can see the stars in there, her plump slight reddish tiny mouth shaped like "o". Then suddenly she started to smile so brightly and her cheeks slightly blush that shows very different character from her normal aloof and cold aura. One feels like the goddess of moon, cold and aloof. Another one is the goddess of sun, bright and cheerful.

[Ahem.. Well this is the first time a girl confesses her feeling so bravely to me. Chihiro-san how about we continue our conversation later during lunch break?]

Rylie's cheerful smile plus her alluring voice, with her deep brown eyes stole Chihiro's heart, mind, and soul away from Chihiro.

[Chihiro-san? Chihiro-san are you ok?]

[y..yesh..]

Chihiro reply with a tiny voice

[Ok then, sensei is about to start the lesson. Let's talk later ok, Chihiro-san?]

Rylie speaks from bright cheerful tone back to her aloof cold tone, Chihiro arranged her seat next to Rylie and sit so close that their shoulders almost touches, her face still in red and dazed. She hasn't completely recovered from their conversation. She is living in her own world right now.

This conversation lasted for 10 minutes time, just enough for the students to sit together in a group and Takahata sensei to finish input the group member into the school software. Then the class starts again. Nobody heard Rylie and Chihiro conversation due to loud noise from moving tables and chairs.

The class started and the students are very attentive, because low score equal low popularity in this school since most of the students are cute and rich. This school system promotes highly competitive environment for the students to prepare for their future living amongst the society.

[This group class is mainly focus on understanding how the working environment feel like, then preparing you to fit in those environments. I will teach you how the standard of an office worker, clerks, secretary, etc. should act, how to responds, and…]

Takahata sensei started the lesson in introducing the content of the student's studies. Since it is a unique program it is necessary to explain in detail. All of the students are very attentive but Rylie and Chihiro. Rylie just looked outside the window at the clouds, while Chihiro keep looking at Rylie.

Rylie and Chihiro keeps at it until 3rd period ended, and lunch time starts. Then some girls and boys started to move toward Rylie.

[Hello Kobayashi-san, where are you from?]

[Kobayashi-san, which junior high did u attend?]

[Kobayashi-san, is it true one of your parents is gaijin*?]

[Kobayashi-san….]

Those students formed a circle around Rylie and Chihiro's seats then they bombard Rylie with questions. Chihiro wants to talk with Rylie more but there are lots of people here she is very troubled, she felt her world with Rylie is invaded by aliens.

[Sorry guys, I have something do now, let's go Chihiro]

Rylie speaks with a cold aloof expression and hold Chihiro's hand then drag her away. Chihiro blushes "She hold my hand again… I am so lucky… her hand is so soft and gives a warm and safe feeling. I wish I can hold her hand forever."

When they reach the door of the school rooftops then Rylie suddenly stops. When Chihiro move forward and tries to open the door.

<Clak Clak Clak>

[T-th..the door is locked, s-shall we..we.. go to another place?]

[Here!]

Rylie suddenly throws a key toward Chihiro

[Wh…wh…why do Rylie-san has a key to the rooftop?]

[Isn't it obvious? I stole it…]

Rylie replies with a slight smirk

[ah…I…I…see…]

Chihiro replies with a slight blush on her cheeks then unlocking the door while thinking "Rylie-san has a little delinquent in her, look so charming"

Rylie walk outside, then Chihiro follows

[What a beautiful day! Oh yeah, Chihiro-san please lock the door again, I don't want anybody to disturb our lunch break]

Rylie speak with a brilliant smile on her face, making Chihiro blush further. Chihiro begin to think to herself again "Rylie-san only show her cheerful and charming side to me, am I special to her? I wish I can be very special to her. Even if just a little more special than others."

Chihiro timidly close the door and locked it up again, then turn and look at Rylie still thinking "Can I really be special to her?"

[What are you thinking about?]

[Ah…ah… nothing…]

[Chihiro-san is thinking why I always act cold and aloof to others, right?]

[Ah! H-how do you know?]

Chihiro shocked and blurred out

[Ah! N-no…I mean…I mean…]

Chihiro don't know how to speaks again, "Why can't I keep my thoughts to myself when I talk to Rylie?"

[pfff…hahaha… Don't mind it! Well it's not a huge secret anyway. The reason is, they can't make me feel comfortable and laugh out loud like when I am with you!]

[I-is…that…so…]

[Yeah, and I think you hold your questions and doubt well in your head. I don't like to be asked many questions especially from people I don't know and don't want to know.]

[R-Rylie-san, c-can I speak m-my mind?]

[Yeah sure… Since I speak freely around you, it's only fair if you do the same]

[R-Rylie-san, I think if you get know the people better some of them can be nice people top]

[Is that really what you think?]

Rylie replied with a bitter smile, "So cute" Chihiro's thought. But looking at that smile she knew she has bad experience with other people and she wants to protect her and doesn't want to share her with other people, she just wanted her for herself.

[Anyway, let's eat our lunch here. Come sit next to me]

[O-Okay]

Chihiro sat next to Rylie and looking at her charming face

[Chihiro-san, where is your lunch?]

Rylie spoke while opening her *bento

[I-I left in the classroom, d-don't mind it, I-I am not that hungry]

[That is not ok, you have to eat lunch otherwise you will have stomach ache and other problems if you often skip lunch. Let's go get it.]

[N-No…I-I will go get it myself]

[Hm? I don't mind to go with you, you know]

[B-but, m-many p-people will ask you many questions again]

[Yeah that is quite troublesome, Chihiro-san why don't we share my lunch box? I made a lot anyway, probably can't finish all of them myself]

[R-Rylie-san made your own lunch box?]

[Yeah, I stay with my younger brother, and he cannot cook so I made our lunch]

[I-Is it really ok?]

[I don't mind, come let's share]

Chihiro felt really lucky that she forgot her bento in the classroom, "I can eat Rylie-san's bento, should I just keep leave my bento in the class all the time? And her bento looks so delicious, my mother usually only put junk food or leftovers in my bento. Rylie-san is like an angle"

[T-then… Itadakimasu]

[Itadakimasu!]

They started eating, Chihiro face filled with blissed expression. "It is so delicious!"

[Chihiro-san, how is it?]

Rylie-san make a slight blush and shy expression while asking. It makes Chihiro's heart skip a beat.

[R-Rylie-san is so amazing, it is so delicious!]

[Hehe… Thanks, usually I can only ask my younger brother but I think he will say good to anything I make]

Rylie's slight shy smile it's like a killer move to Chihiro's heart. Chihiro face begin to blush again.

[I-is Rylie-san's younger brother Kobayashi Ryan?]

[Yeah, but he is smarter than me and he gets a perfect score in the entrance exam.]

[R-Rylie-san also gets a perfect score in the entrance exam]

Chihiro tries to defend her idol, "So that explains all the answer to those gossips about her relationship with Kobayashi Ryan"

[But he is younger than me, so he is smarter. I am very proud being his older sister!]

Chihiro become more curious about Rylie's younger brother because when Rylie speaks about her younger brother it's so charming and show lots of love and protection.

[R-Rylie-san really love your younger brother, I think he is lucky]

[Hehe… Yeah, I told him that too!]

Rylie's face is full of happiness and excitement when they were talking about Kobayashi Ryan. Chihiro thinks Rylie's expression is very adorable.

[S-so… R-Rylie-san, w-why is your brother absent today?]

[He has to take care of some stuff in his company]

[R-Rylie-san's brother has a company?]

[Yeah, have you heard of "R&R tech"? That is my younger brother's company.]

[R-R…R…R… "R&R Tech? T-the R&R Tech? T-That cellphone and phone apps company?]

[Yeah, well my father invests quite a large sum into it but the return is good so that's why I said my brother is smarter than me!]

[A-amazing! R-Rylie-san's brother is the owner of the best mobile phone company in Japan]

Chihiro replies very fast with a determined face

[Hahaha… you are different from other people]

Rylie laugh, and the laugh comes from the heart. Rylie is genuine happy.

[I-is..is that so?]

[Yeah, normal people will try to get close to him or try to sleep with him to make connections or even tied him with marriage. But, you looked like you have almost zero interest in my brother. Why?]

[B-because, I love you!]

Chihiro speaks with a very determined face again

[I-I am in love with you the moment you save me from those boys, I-I just sorted out all m-my feeling. A…a…and, I-I wa..wan..want… to… be… with… Rylie-san fo…for…ever…]

Chihiro speaks from loud voice to small, till it becomes like insect. Then her face turned red, "Oh… Why!? Why did I confess again?" Then Chihiro look at Rylie's face, what she saw shocked her the most from everything that happens today.

Rylie with a bright red blush on her cheeks, shy expression, was looking at her feet. She looks like she was trying to buried her face in the ground.

<Ding Ding Ding>

School bell rang across the school while two bright red face beautiful girls on the rooftops gaze into each other's eyes, the time feel it stopped for a minute.
