MARCUS POV

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!" they all came screaming in when me and my family were about to have dinner . And trust me when i said i was surprised to see Jay , i was and not to mention when i saw her my heart skipped a beat. Its like i have never been so happy before . She she looks ..... Gorgeous , my goodness, in that little outfit of her which failed to hide every curve . I still don't get why she was being bullied in school . 

I mumbled " Thanks guys " and we all go in for a group hug . After our little moment we had dinner with my parents . And since they had plans we went to room. I'm a person who hates big parties . I get suffocated with crowds , so i tend to keep things personal and private with limited people around me . And before our little teenage celebration we had a party with my parents in the hall itself and after the mess we created in the hall we proceeded to create a disaster in my room . I wonder how its gonna look after whatever they had in their head. My sister joined too to which i was pretty sure that i'm going to stink and i'll need a shower. But what i was overwhelmed about was that Jayden made it for my birthday and i cannot help but smile the entire time in her presence . I feel my heart twist when i see her , when i make her smile, when we have an eye contact my heart starts to race like crazy. I don't know what's wrong but i'm sure i like it . Just like i guessed Melina ended up throwing coke all over me and that followed by the rest throwing eggs and tomato . YUCK!. And someone threw flour and that someone was Jay! . After that we had Champagne and ordered food , when we were done the boys started drinking . The girls were tired so they seated themselves and watched the rest of us . Once i had shower and came out all cleaned up and dressed in tracks , everyone was on the ground . I don't know how they manage to sleep on that heap . But i figured someone was missing . Did she leave ? i frowned at that thought i didn't want her to leave so early . But to my surprise i found someone on the balcony and it was Jay . The moonlight hitting her smooth skin , only made me stare at her beauty until she cleared her throat snapping me out of my thoughts . I noticed she was holding a box . I walked towards her till we were pretty close . 

" Hey " she said nervously .

" Hey " i replied .

" Umm...i actually got a gift for you .... i don't know if you'll like it ."

" Well why don't you find out ?" i said with a wink .

With a blush she handed me the box . And when i opened it , i honestly thought i would break down on the spot . It was cube in which was our childhood pic , where we both were having ice cream staring at each other . " Thank you ....so much ." I wanted to hug her so badly . But i don't know what made me hesitate at that time , i didn't . 

" And i wanted to say one more thing too ."

My eyebrows met at what she said . And my head loaded up with confusion . Was she going to tell me to keep distance ? Was she going to say she can never work on our friendship ? Did i do something wrong ? and when my head fill itself with more shit she spoke up .

" I f-f-forgive you and i would like to resume our lost friendship ." She nervously said rubbing her hands together and giving me puppy eyes once she was done .

I couldn't help but feel overjoyed , forgetting about the circumstance at the moment , when i lifted her up by her hip and hugged her . she was taken a back a little but responded by putting her arms around my neck. i hugged her like my life depended on her and to be honest it did . I wanted her . I needed her . She was tiny and at the same time way too cute . I held her like my baby . And from that day she would be my baby girl . She tried to pull back but realized her legs were off the ground. But once she pulled back our noses met and we were very close . SUPER CLOSE! . i gulped at the closeness , for all i could focus on was her lips . My heart raced wildly , i had sweat on my forehead . i could feel her heart beat against my chest and the expression on her face was so freaking cute , i had the urge to kiss her cheeks . I had to put in  a lot of self control not to do that . After a long silence i decided to break it . " Thank you " i was still holding held with our noses touching . " I think you're already expressing it . But you're welcome ." she smiled and my heart skipped a beat . 

" Are you always this sassy ?"

" Maybe . Why?"

" It's hot ." i said while giving her a full smile , knowing i made her blush , so freaking adorable .

" Why do you always end up carrying me when you intend on giving a hug ."

" Can't help it when you're a midget ."

" Shut up " she said and pouted . Oh my gosh! 

" You know you're holding me by my butt right ?"

I chuckled at that " like i said ...midget." 

She slapped my arm this time and chuckled along with me . And for few seconds we kept staring at each other , our chest rising simultaneously feeling each others heart beat , until Abi cleared her throat snapping us from our little moment . I frowned at that and without keeping a distance , i put her down . i don't know why but i loved it being close to her . It felt ....good . I loved it . 

" Umm...i just wanted to say we all are going to crash here for the night . I'm sorry Jay i'm too tired to drive ." she said smirking and eyeing the two of us .

" Its ok i think i'll do the same but first i have to tell my parents ."

" That'd be great . " Jay said and i couldn't help but be happy she would spend her night at my house .

Once she left Jayden said " Thanks for letting me sleep ."

" That's not a problem , you're always welcome Jay ." anything for you baby girl .
