The Snow Demon Part 1

The next day...

"Candy, where did you come from?" I asked as I set up plans for future events.

"I am from a little village named the Cloudlyte. It was targeted by a snowstorm and was ruined. Sadly I'm the only survivor of that village." Candy responded and rolled a crystal ball left and right on the table.

"I see." I nodded and walked backwards from the board and sat on the table then crossed my arms. "A similar event happened a few years ago to another village and that village is now known as Snowrock."

"Snowrock?" Candy looked at me and sat back on the chair. "Where is that?"

I threw a dart on the top right of the board. Candy looked at the board and stood up and walked closer to the board. I looked at her and she looked at me. We both nodded and I stood up. I walked out the room and grabbed my white scarf and put it on. Candy put on her jacket and followed me.

"He's going to Snowrock." My assistant said in her hidden microphone.

I walked to my motorcycle I parked in the garage and pressed a button on it to start it. Candy looked at the motorcycle and her eyes shined a bit.

"Are you hopping on or gonna sit there in awe?" I said and looked at Candy. She nodded and got on the motorcycle and wrapped her arms around my body. I twisted the handle of the motorcycle and revved up the engine then began driving off.

My assistant watched from a window then closed her eyes and walked off. I continued down the road and swerved left and right through the traffic. Candy held on to me tightly and squeaked with each turn.

"S-Slow down won't you?!" Candy yelled then opened her eyes and saw me headed straight for a ramp. "H-Hakai?! HEY DON'T DO IT!"

I drove on the ramp and we flew into the sky. I jumped off my motorcycle and held onto Candy then my wings emerged from my back and I landed softly on a cliff. The motorcycle crashed into the snow. Candy opened her eyes slowly then saw we were on a cliff. I set her down carefully then she looked out in the distance.

"Look at all this snow. The weather is only getting worse by the day." I said and placed my hands in my jacket pockets.

"Was there always snow here..?" Candy asked.

"There was but not to the extent of killing people. With weather like this, frostbite is an easy thing to get." I said and snapped my fingers and a fireball floated around us.

"A l e r t ! A l e r t ! H e a v y s t o r m s a h e a d !" Plexi floated around us.

"Hey, Scrap. Fine the least dangerous route to Snowrock." I said and looked at Plexi.

"A f f i r m a t i v e." Plexi said.

"Wait. Scrap?! His name is Plexi!" Candy puffed her cheeks.

"P a t h f o u n d ." Plexi said and showed a screen to us.

We both looked at the screen and Candy blinked. I pointed at the red dot and traced my finger along the path and Candy nodded. Plexi left the screen open for us and floated ahead so we could see the screen. We followed Plexi for a bit then a large gust of wind hit us. I noticed my flame blew out and Candy sliding back and grunting softly. I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me and snapped my fingers and a flame barrier surrounded all three of us.

"W h y h a v e w e s t o p p e d ?" Plexi asked.

"It is too dangerous for us to continue for now. That wind is too strong." I said and saw a bit of frost on Candy's neck. "Fuck...frostbite.."

Candy panted and her body shook a lot and she held onto me tightly. I held her and the wind stopped then I put flame barrier down. I picked Candy up bridal style.

"Scrap! Find the nearest cave!" I commanded.

"A f f i r m a t i v e ." Plexi said and redirected the map and led us to the nearest cave.

I held Candy tightly and followed Plexi quickly. She kept panting and I tried to keep a flame on her at all costs. I looked ahead and saw a cave and my eyes shined.

"D e s t i n a t i o n a r r i v e d ." Plexi said.

I ran into the cave and Plexi followed behind. I laid Candy down and took my jacket off then covered Candy's body with it like a blanket. I snapped my fingers and a large fireball floated over her. Plexi landed beside her and went into Rest Mode. I stood up and walked towards the entrance of the cave and had a flashback of this place.

"Only one person can cause all this snow to happen. Such weather should be impossible without the help of Weather Manipulation. I only know one person who can manipulate snowy weather." I said and looked ahead. I turned around and looked at Candy.

I walked towards her and crouched down and looked at her face. I placed my hand on her forehead then she smiled. I looked at her a bit shocked and had another flashback about her. I quickly took my hand off her forehead and blushed.

'Why won't I just tell her...we met before..?' I thought to myself.

I sighed and sat against the wall and closed my eyes. It was silent, only the wind from the blizzard and the flame could be heard. I drifted off the sleep slowly. A few hours passed and I heard a noise and I woke up immediately then looked around and saw Candy and Plexi still asleep. I stood up and went to investigate. I walked out the cave and saw footprints. I followed the footprints carefully. I saw a figure of a young girl running off. I followed her and covered my face from the powerful gusts of wind.

"You're a real idiot.." The girl said and smirked.

"What..?" I looked up and noticed I was in a ruined city, covered in snow.

"Lanche! Now!" The girl yelled.

Another girl slashed down and my left eye shined then I dodged the attack and grabbed the girl's arm and tossed her to the other girl. The girl caught Lanche and slid back. I glared at them and summoned my sword.

"It doesn't matter if you kill us. Our big sister has the target." Lanche giggled. "But we should take him down right Avala?"

"He's too strong to be left alive." Avala nodded and looked at me.

"Let's kill him!" Lanche laughed and looked at me.

Candy slowly woke up and saw I was gone then looked to her right and saw a woman looking at her closely, grinning. Candy sat up quickly and Plexi awakened after her. The woman stood up and looked at Candy.

"You smell like that black haired bastard. You're associated with him eh? You deserve the same fate he's gonna get!" The woman summoned her ice blade. "Say hello to my most trusted blade, one of the most powerful blades to be forged from ice, Lexida."

"Plexi...where is Hakai..?" Candy asked.

"L o c a t i o n U n k n o w n ." Plexi answered.

"Where did you run off too..?" Candy asked herself.

I dodged a killing blow from Avala and jumped back then sensed Lanche behind me. She laughed as she was going for a stab at my back.

"Tch...you two are annoying." I said and snapped my fingers and a dark orb was summoned then I swapped places with the dark orb.

"Get him! Bring his head back to big sister! Hakai must die!" Avala said.

I glared and a Z flashed on my hand. I looked at my hand then back at them. My hair slowly turned into flames and I ran towards them quickly. I exhaled and my canine teeth grew sharper. I dragged my sword against the ground and slashed upwards then a flaming blade beam was headed towards them. They both dodged quickly and looked shocked.

"He's using that cursed Zodiac Power..." Avala said and glared at me.

I roared and tossed my sword aside then took my scarf off and tossed it aside. Lanche and Avala got into a fighting stance. Candy heard the roar and looked to the entrance of the cave. The woman with Candy also heard the roar.

"The hell was that..?" The woman asked.

". . . L a r g e s i g n a l s o f f i r e e n e r g y n e a r b y . P r o p o s a l : H a k a i m a y b e t h e s o u r c e ." Plexi said and a red dot appeared on the screen.

"Hakai..." Candy stood up and ran out the cave and her angel wings emerged from her back and she flew in the air with the flame following her.

"Flame energy...Heh...seems like you still have the same tricks up your sleeve.." The woman said and walked out of the cave. "Hakai...when I find you...it is just me and you. I am Glayze, the Snow Demon...you will not cross me and expect to live."
