20 Cerin Returns.

Cerin sat up from the bathroom floor with an aged expression on her face. She stood and looked at herself in the mirror, touching her face as if trying to get familiarized with it.

" It wasn't a dream"

The young girl whispered to herself.

The memories of the eight women bounced around her head and unconsciously began to change her ways of thinking and her ideas. Her youthful naivete began to be replaced by the life experiences of the Cerins and the inexperienced air around her began to melt into that of an old woman, experienced with the ways of the world.

She looked at herself in the mirror once more and smiled an odd grin,

" At least I'm pretty in this life."

Large, delicate eyes and an un-marred complexion, a pouted mouth and soft looking cheeks that were only slightly hollowed by her lack of health.

To be fair, six of the Cerins had been rather plain faced and the other two were in positions were their beauty was a disadvantage and had therefore played it down. So the new Cerin, the product of them all was rather pleased with this new appearance.

Cerin or rather Ninth quickly finished her shower and went back to sleep in order to fully assimilate the rest of the memories.

In her rest she met with the eight women who all stood in the room, facing her with peaceful and happy smiles. One stepped forward and placed her hands atop Nine's head,

"We are all dead and most of our resentments have probably left the world by now so all I ask of you is to achieve everything you want to, if you want to live a quiet life then do so but if you want to conquer the world-"

A sharp glint appeared in her eyes,

" Then with all of our skills and knowledge you now possess, conquer you shall!"

Five walked out, her deceptively calm aura flooding the room and placing a thin cap over the fiery atmosphere that One had created.

"After today you might not see us until the day you join us for good so live well and come join us with no regrets."
