A Side note

In regards to the story I've realized that there are some things that might be a bit confusing to the readers so i'm going to clarify them here instead of forcing these details into the story.

Pacing-

The book is pretty fast-paced because I suck at transitions but I'll try my best to make sure everything that needs to be explained gets an explanation. With that being said, Ill welcome any questions you guys might put in the comment section and ill try to get to them as soon as I see them.

Plotline-

The actual story starts in the last chapter of volume one and goes into volume two. However, Cerin's real life story starts in volume three. I would suggest reading volume two because volume one was just how the others passed away but volume two actually shows their personalities and how they influence the MC.

As the author, I would insist that you guys try to get through volume two but to get a feel of the actual story I would suggest getting to the middle of volume three before making the call. Volume One was fun to write but it doesn't really have much to do with the story.

Place and time:

The characters are mostly in the modern world but ill avoid making any real-life references as its a personal peeve of mine whenever I see them in novels. The customs and stuff are kind of all over the place and whatever I found cool while I was writing it so I don't think you'll need any background knowledge to understand the character's actions, but if I think you do I'll make sure it's clearly explained.

There is magic in the world but the majority of people cannot use it and do not know about it. The direction I want to take the magic in my fictional world is a sort of hidden world within the world.

Different Cerins:

The Cerins when there are multiple of them will be referred to as their number of seniority which is decided by the order in which they arrived in the jade star.

While the Ninth ( the MC) lives out her life she DOES NOT have contact with the other Cerins, save for a few special occurrences, but she does have their memories and she can fully master their skills through special actions.

Genre-

This is mainly a slice of life with a bit of wish fulfillment but not a lot of face slapping cause its tiresome to write. There might be a bit of romance in the future but there definitively wont be any for a while as the MC barely has enough of a personality in the beginning to support herself, never mind a significant other in person to person interactions. There is also the fact that I don't think I'm that great at writing romance so I tend to avoid it.

As well there is a hint of a game elements that comes into play while she gains the different Cerin's skills. as well as a fantasy element when it comes to mastering the skills of a particular cerin...more detail in the book though.....(Hopefully. if not, ill update this place.)

Update speed-

Honestly whenever I get to it. I enjoy writing and I try to do it as much as possible but I couldn't do it if I thought of it as a responsibility since I already have so many of them irl so please be understaqnding.
