It has been two years since Lu Xioli divorced her husband, but he's like a ghost that reappears in every location she moves in. She just wants a peaceful life with her daughter what is wrong with that. This man just won't leave her alone. After the irritating phone call, Xioli decides to drive to the hospital to see her daughter Li MinXi and see if her fever has gone down yet. Being distracted in her thoughts She didn't notice that truck headed her way. Without second thoughts she hits her brakes causing the car to spin out of control hitting another car and flipping over.
The dizziness that came from after the airbag hit her face made her vision hazy. The car reeked of oil and blood. As her vision cleared Lu Xioli tried to find the wind to get out the car, but a hand suddenly stops her from doing so.
"You should have not provoked him, you think he wouldn't have found you in London" the woman smirk as she takes out a gun and shoots the gas tank and the car is enveloped in flames.
Xioli only wishes she could have warned her daughter of the enemies before this day or at least have seen her one last time, but all she was left was grief and regret before burring to her death.
Hospital
LI MinXi woke up from a nightmare only to realize she was in a hospital bed surrounded by four white walls and a monitor that featured her heartbeat as it beat with every pulse that raised and fell.
Minx wondered what was taking her mother so long to come back with their clothes and food. She was sick of hospital food, she missed her mother's homemade Chinese food, but Panda Express will have to do for now.
Minxi tried calling her mother multiple time but everything she called her phone said the other person phone was off and to "please call again"
She decided to just sit and wait for her mother to come back, but as the timer went off she dozed off.
The next morning Minxi woke up to find her mother didn't show up the night before. This time she was worried, 'did that man come back to find them again,' she thought. But that doesn't explain my mother's phone being off.
After repeatedly trying to call her mother. Minxi tried calling her Uncle Li NiMin, but before the phone could dial the door to her hospital room open up. Her uncle came in, he looked like he had aged ten years more than the last she ha seen him.
" What's wrong, mom isn't picking up her phone"
"Minxi ..... I, turn on the news"
Minxi turned on the new to Channel 3 a report of a highway crash was being broadcasted. It showed a truck and a picture of what looked like a car that was caught on fire. As Minxi listens closely her eyes widened as tears started streaming down her face.
