Janna heart beat loudly in her chest as she realized the brevity of his declaration.  Finally she couldn't helping the blush on her cheeks turning into a smile. "Nolan, I . . . this is so sudden.  I'm not saying no to you. Have you not been paying attention?"

"I am paying attention to everything you're doing.  I have been so far along." Nolan looked at her with a soft intensity.  He wanted her to feel the same way and feel like she could open up to him.  "I'm just trying to understand.
