6 Marriage, you say?

When we step outside into the car, it was silence. While he drives me home, he gets a call from my mother.

His eyes are wide open, he stops the car and looks at me with a frown. Suddenly my heart drop as if I knew what happened.

"Your father had a heart attack at the office this morning." He says looking down.

Words couldn't come out of my mouth or I didn't know how to react. Though, I could see he read through me..so he drove as fast as he could to the hospital.

While in a hurry, I couldn't help but to repeat the words, don't leave me dad, those exact words slowly brought me to the darkness. Soon when we arrive, I don't hesitate and run out the car into the hospital. I look around and run to the front desk.

"Where's yi si Lin?!" I try to catch my breath "please. Tell me where my father is."

The lady points upstairs, "t..third floor room 301."

The words, don't leave me, showed up again in my head. It kept repeating itself over and over.

I rush to the elevator, constantly pressing the buttons but it felt as for every time I press the button, time gets slower. My heart pounds harder. Tears fall down my face...I turn and run up the stairs. I run and run and run...time was then speeding up..as if these were the last minutes I'll see him. Maybe these were. I reached the third floor and see my mother standing outside the room. I could tell she was crying because her hair was a mess and she was wiping her eyes.

Mom..Dad..I reach my hand out and try to run to my mother but I was held back.

"Don't."

I turn around, "what?"

"Be prepare for what happens. Stay strong."

I shake off his hand and step away.

"I am strong."

He fell silent and just walked to my mom. When she notices us she stands and hugs me. I could my own mother trembling.

The room door clicks and the doctor comes out. I let go of my mother and step in front of the doctor.

"How is he." I say strongly trying not to break apart.

"He has CAD and doesn't have long to live.I'm guessing your his daughter. He wants to see you."

He sighs and walks away. I look over to the door and reach for the handle but I hesitate..I cry..I..fall apart. I was afraid. Afraid to see my father. Then I felt warmth touching, holding my hand. A soft voice.

"You can do this."

I look over, Zhi Xiang.., I took a deep breath and walked inside. I shut the door behind me and take slow steps. I could see through the curtains as I walked..he was lying in bed. The monitors were beeping. He was having a hard time breathing and when I saw him. I covered my mouth and my eyes watered.

I muttered, "dad.." weakly.

I continue to walk to the side of his, covering my mouth.

"Xiaoxiao ...I'm sorry." He gasps for air "I should've told you everything."

I hold his hand tightly.

"Don't be sorry dad. I shouldn't had ran off. I'm the one who is sorry."

"No...not that. I can't explain what happened now that I'm..here. Honey, I love you and your mom but since I won't be here no more. F..find someone to protect you and love you. Take care of both yourself and your mother. I love you my dear...princess."

He closes his eyes and a teardrop falls down.

"Wait…" I let go of his hand "dad! Dad! Don't! Wait! I'm not ready!"

The hospital moved my dad. I was given the company. I mean I am the heir..but I didn't want it like this.

"Honey.." My mom puts her hand on my shoulder "I'll be heading home first."

"Drive safe."

She nods her head and walks away. I stand there, thinking and thinking..but what was there to be thinking about?

Zhi Xiang comes and stands beside me. Covering me up with his blazer.

"Thank you Zhi Xiang." I say softly, facing the other side.

"You're a strong person, Miss Lin." He looks down.

"Zhi Xiang," I tug on his shirt "can you drive me home? I have something to talk about with you."

He nods his head and we both walk outside, back into his car. He drove away from the hospital and to the road. I could see that he would constantly taking a glance at me.

He sighs "Miss Lin, you wanted to talk about something?"

I squeezed my hand and stay silent for a moment.

"Zhi Xiang, Let's get married."

He stops at the red light.

"What? Married?"

I look away, "Yes. For my dad. Let's sign the document, and let it go on for two years. After that we'll divorce."

He leans forward me, "Miss Lin do you know what your doing?"

I push him away.

"I do. So please."

When the light switches to green, he continues to drive. He doesn't say anything else while driving finally we arrived at my house. Before stepping out the car, he grabs my hand and pulls me.

"W..what are you doing?"

He smirks, "sealing the deal."

After those words coming out he kisses me, holding me down the waist. I then push him back.

"Alright you've sealed the deal. Now let me go and go home."

He smiles and lets go of my waist. I exit out of the car and walk up to the gate. When I turned around, he was gone.

"What a mysterious man."

I turn back and continue to walk to the house.
