Opening her eyes, the next morning, Hunter was looking at Eve as if she was his entire world. Smiling with a hum, she snuggled into his arms.

"I could get used to this," he said. "It was nice having someone to wake up to."

"It is. I hear the munchkin is up. I can hear her singing to herself in the hall."

With a chuckle, he sat up. "Yeah, she's been sitting outside the door all morning playing with her dolls. She does that a lot. Try going to the restroom. With a kid, you never have a chance to go to the restroom alone without little fingers wiggling under the door. It's like having a needy puppy. I had the door locked because I didn't want her to see us naked together."

"That's a good idea. So, do you want me to hide or something? It might be shocking to her to find me here so early."

"No. It's fine. Just let me get dressed and I'll go fix her some breakfast. She needs her shot away. You just rest and take your time getting up."
