5 5. Young Miss...

It was 13:00, the meeting ended early than expected.

She decided to order lunch before going to 'his' side.

Just after she put the order, Secretary Feng called her from the back, it seems he had followed her out.

"It was a marvelous presentation, Secretary Qin", he smiled. She was referred to as secretary not as a personal assistant because the CEO liked to address her like that, well, his given reasons were that he liked the ring to it, yes, nothing deep.[My son is a bit whimsical...huehue]

"It was not much, Secretary Feng", she returned his smile.

"hahaha...No, really! It was really good and congratulations on sealing a contract with WPJ, they have really high-standards so, I am happy for the company, the chairman will be happy", he praised her sincerely.

The WPJ deals with architectural ventures and is also involved in the entertainment circle; the Jade Entertainment, which is among the top three company for artists in the circle is under them and has produced some of the top S-list artistes in the recent years including, music sensation "NIL".

Though new, they already have a strong foothold in both the industries, inside the country and abroad. Many businessmen think of them to be arrogant as the group was famous to not give any face, even to the top companies. But it is justified as they back their arrogance with their works. No insider will let go of an opportunity to work with them.

Well though collaborations with them were hard to come by, during that time frame they won't let you down. Even the top MNCs from abroad were waiting for a chance to work with them, yes, even the Qins. The WPJ never took projects that didn't meet their standards directly rejecting them on the face and the ones they took will go on to the annals as they said working with them was a noble experience, it was unbelievable that the company has been in place only for 4 years!!

"It wasn't much hard-work but still thank you, secretary Feng", she politely replied.

Though she said that, he knew it wasn't easy at all; some of the top companies have already been slapped hard by the WPJ and if anything it was most probably due to her ideas. As he thought, it was easy for her since even the simplest of her ideas on project management could get millions. So, you could imagine the innovation she must have thought of for this one which, held a special spot in her grandpa's heart. No wonder 'it wasn't much hard-work', even the WPJ would have a hard time rejecting it.

After a moment of silence, he said:" Young Miss"

He used this title when he had to speak of matters concerning the chairman-no, the patriarchs of the Qin, their grandfather, Qin Mo.

She was startled for a moment but asked him to continue: "Yes, Uncle Feng". Her aura had changed again, this time into the noble young miss of the family, even in her suit she gave the air of elegance and grace.

"It's nothing serious. Master was sulking a little since his dear grandchildren seem to have forgotten about him", he smiled.

"Ah....." she sighed.

Again she smiled before continuing: "Please give him our apologies and tell him that we will go to the main house tomorrow, to visit him."

"Ah, no need to force yourselves. Please take your time. As you know, he has always been like this anyways. You should visit him when your schedules opens up and spend some quality time." he gave an indulging smile.

Secretary Feng treated the chairman as his father and benefactor so, he took care of his public as well as his personal affairs.

He knows how much the chairman dotes on his grandchildren and even though he acts stubborn and says that "I don't care. They will come when they remember that they have a grandpa who is alive", he would every day wait for them to come home and visit him.

He knows that his Master was really sad when the two decided to leave the house, even though he righteously said that, " They need to spread their wings and learn head-on what it means to be a Qin" so, he always makes sure to invite the two to meet their grandpa at regular intervals.

One of the reasons, the two could leave the house was because they felt assured to leave the old man in their Uncle Feng's care, they respected this man both as an elder and an ideal businessman.

She chuckled a bit on seeing the indulging smile on Uncle Feng's face, she felt reassured about her grandpa because this man was with him.

She smiled gently at him.

Her smile made her face bloom.

Though she was well known to have a poker face when with people she was close to, mainly her immediate family and Uncle Feng, she always kept a smile.

It was different from her official smile which showed her professionalism, it was, for a matter of fact different than the one she had this morning while preparing 'his' Lait! This was a soft smile which gave people a feeling of assurance and warmth. She was a Qin through and through.

The Qin's were held high and respected even by their rival because they gave both hope and pride to the people, who, they take under their wings.

"It's weekend anyway, it's not a problem. We both too wish to meet him soon, it's been a while", she assured.

"Okay then I'll inform him", he gave her a pleasant smile and a nod.

They talked for a bit and went their separate ways...
