36 36. Fairy...

Just after Qin Meilin and Qin ZiXuan left the QMX building, a commotion was heard in the lounge areas of the building.

Only the clicking sounds of a pair of PRADA heels could be heard in the otherwise bustling office lounge.

Many employees who were coming to work could only stay still, as if, an invisible force was binding them there or maybe they had grown roots?

They just stood there, taking occasional glances at the famous International Supermodel who went by the name RURI, walking under the same roof as them.

The young lady herself, as if, unaware of the looks she was being given went straight to the reception ladies.

Well, being a supermodel, she was always under the scrutiny of masses and for a supermodel like her, it was norm to work under the eyes of many, it was not anything new.

When she reached there, she took off her sunglasses and greeted them,

"Umm...Good Morning, can you tell me if ZiXuan-, ah sorry..can you tell me if CEO Qin is here?" Her voice like the trickling sounds of the streams, gentle and soft.

Not getting any answers, the young lady had a confused look and saw straight into the eyes of the young receptionist only to see her in a daze.

The young supermodel just gave back her signature gentle smile to the receptionist and repeated the question again.

The other receptionist who was slightly more professional, got out of her daze and immediately relayed the message to the secretary office; after she got her instructions, she replied with respectful voice,

"It seems CEO Qin is not here, Secretary Qian is on his way to receive you and will give you the details, please proceed to the VIP room, he will meet you there."

"Ah~ ZiXuan is not here this early in the morning, that's rare", she mumbled in a very low voice but the young receptionist who just came out of her daze still heard, how she referred to the CEO.

It's not every day you see someone, who was allowed to call him by his name, even a 'certain' someone calls him 'CEO Qin' ba.

She was a newcomer, getting a job in the QMX was like the greatest stroke of all her life's luck.

Well, being a young girl who luckily got here, well, she did have the qualifications but was supposed to work for a branch, but got here because the one who was supposed to work here, was fired on the first day of her work, as, she was late by 10 minutes, so yes, luck played a greater part.

As a fresh girl out of university, she too had her fantasies and her luck led her to think that maybe it was her fate.

She dreamed of that dream encounter, when the cold-CEO will take notice of her, the poor Cinderella and they will fall in love against the norms of society and will be happy, just like in the novels she had read.

But all of it shattered when she first laid her eyes on this young woman before her and a 'certain' someone after that.

Knowing full well that it's disrespectful, she still took another scrutinising glance at her.

The young woman had a tall stature compared to her peers in the same line of work in the country, she seemed to be about 5'7".

She was blessed with a small face with 3D features, which was the best for all-round pictures, even though she was pure Asian; her fair skin without any blemishes, her beautiful peach-blossom eyes, a thin pointy nose and plump full lips which were naturally pink; her dyed platinum blonde hairs, which fell to her shoulders and that ever-present gentle smile of hers, made her look like a mortal beauty at the pinnacle of this mortal plane.

Just a look and she knew it was impossible for her.

With a woman like this by his side, whose attractiveness crossed the line of gender and countries alike, no way an average girl like her was allowed to dream about a chance encounter.

Reality had slapped her hard in the face back then; those fairy tales like encounters were only limited to books, if they occurred in reality, then there must be something wrong with this world!!

But she still couldn't let go of the infatuation she had for the CEO and the one to break everything about what was left of it, was 'her'.

When they were introduced to the new PA of the CEO, who was also the rumored heir and princess of the Qin Empire, Qin Meilin, everyone was very curious about this fallen child of the empire.

But just one look and everyone knew that the title 'Princess' didn't suit her; she was a phoenix and exuded the air of an Empress, a genuine Ice Empress.

She was a very beautiful woman and maybe it was due to her privileged birth but just by simply standing there, she exuded the aura of the one with power, the stifling pressure, and arrogance of a royal.

Her beauty defied law but the men present there were suppressed by her, their own dreams of ofice romance taking a dive from the ninth heaven.

Her beautiful pale skin which looked so moist that it felt like water will flow out when pinched, her small defined face that won't lose to any S-list star in the industry, her bright peach blossom eyes that looked at you as if, she could see straight into your soul, her small button nose, her plump cherry lips, her long raven-black hairs with slight curls near the end and that dignified posture; tey felt like she had ascended, she was an immortal.

She had a very similar air to their cold CEO.

Actually, there were still some sightings of the CEO smiling at older clients now and then but she was genuinely cold.

Lets not talk about a smile but seeing her with any, any kind of expression was unheard of!!

She always held that cold poker face and even when she was angry she just slightly raised her voice, slightly and nothing else.

When it came to her, it was truly like she was always bored, bored of this mundane and mortal world...but she was perfect otherwise.

They ridiculed her by calling her names but deep down they knew, the only flaw they could find about this aloof fairy, was that she fell before she could actually turn into an empress.... but did she actually need a title to be an empress.

Deep down they knew..

'No, she didn't.'
