18 18. Childish...

Qin Meilin was, in no way, agitated as it was not in her character still, when he said those words somewhere inside her, the whirling winds did calm down.

She was really a filial child, nobody could say anything against that fact but it was just that, after what she went through back then, she really hated being controlled and for the matter, being helpless; she will give her everything for her family but being used, no matter the reason, didn't fit well with her.

She was still not over with 'that' incident and had only suppressed it inside her, XuanXuan was her lock and her emotions were the keys.....as long as her XuanXuan was with her, she won't turn ugly, he was the only one who was able to keep her sane, was her last line of defence to the insanity and darkness inside her and she will not let him see her dark side because she did not want to be abhorred by him.

She took a deep breath, gently flipped her hand and held his hands in hers.

"He came to me to give grandma's position, in exchange I gave him my control over the Qin Internationals", she said apathetically about the 'transactions'.

"You did wh-" before he could finish, Qin Meilin held her free hand out to stop him from continuing and looked at the angry old man.

Qin Mo was agitated and his voice had become a bit louder.

He was angry about what she did.

Back then when she decided to go abroad, he had given her the control over the Qin's International market without batting an eye, well, she was his kin and she was more than capable of handling it even though she was young back then.

His intuitions were right as she didn't let him down, in these last few years, they were able to rise to a whole new level in the international market with their revenues being tripled; the MNC she used to be the consultant of was partners with them and she had helped them because the chairman was an old friend of her grandfather., she flourished with flying colours.

It is really a matter to brood over you know, on how she completed all her studies and still had time to do handle two business giants and that is not all, some other things are left for the future and will be disclosed later on.

Anyway, Qin Mo had already disowned that son of his and had not expected such an outcome, he was also mad that he was not informed of such things..and as if reading his mind, she spoke, "He didn't want it, but I still intended to give something to him in return for his pieces of information, plus it belonged to him anyway" she said nonchalantly.

"For the matter, the papers and shares are still under my name and he is working as the nominal head, though I intend to give them to him soon as well...I had to come back sooner than I expected because of what you did to XuanXuan, so don't get all angry because believe me, I haven't shown my scope of anger on the matter to you, till date."

Her Ice Queen aura was all out...all present, felt the temperature drop down.

To this, Qin Mo gulped his anger and words back.

She was going to hold a grudge over him for a long time, as he had pushed Qin ZiXuan to the frontlines way before it was planned and he had promised her to back then when she accepted to take over the matters abroad in exchange for it.

"I gave the company matters for him to handle both as a compensation for the information he gave and also because it was his responsibility to begin with and it was you who broke our agreement first and I was not obliged to follow it through."

When he head the word 'agreement', Qin ZiXuan took a glance at her, he was the only one who was calm about all this.

Even though she hadn't spoken of this matter to him, he believed her and knew that like she said, it was irrelevant to her and hence she didn't speak of this to him and he was with her, on this matter.

Just like to her, for him too, her father was only involved in the process of making her and that was about it.

He was insignificant to both of them except for his lineage and the burden he should take care of...

...But just now it seems, he didn't know about this 'agreement' that went between her and the elder.

'I'll ask her about this soon.....'

Qin Meilin was unaware of her slip of tongue just now, after all, she was a bit frustrated. As she kneaded her forehead, she continued, " I really don't get what the adults in this family think of, if one is childish then another is more childish, if one is running away from home the others are running away from their responsibilities.....For me you guys are more of a headache than the company's stocks!!"

She let out a huge sigh, as her words stabbed the sore points of the elders.

"And about the matter about him being not on the line to inheritance, the disowning part is only verbal now, the papers have been taken care of...I can't let anyone responsible to run from the responsibilities, you guys already had your fair share of freedom on someone else's expense and this can't go on, am I clear?"

She was back to her stern persona.

She didn't care about their ages when she knew that they needed to be disciplined; when she needed to, she didn't think of these insignificant and virtual matters.

All three of the elders were shocked beyond reasons as the amount of information they got was hard to digest but still didn't say anything as they were guilty, including Feng Jiajie as he had indulged his master on these matters.

Qin Mo was embarrassed but he couldn't refute back.[Sometimes I really wonder if Qin Meilin was a Marshall in her previous life as she is able to put a hold on our old general....LOL]
