"What evidence do you have that we were behind the attack?" Hunter seethed defensively.

"Isn't that your enforcer?" I responded in anger, pointing at the guy lying on the ground unconscious.

Hunter remained mute as he walked around the large meadow, analyzing and counting the dead wolves. He stared at the whole scenario, and I instantly knew it baffled him.

"Fucking shit "I cursed. "Someone better be responsible for this mess. I will not take it lightly that they trespassed on Freki's land. "

We watched as Hunter took out his phone and made a phone call. Zeeb, Anisha, and Tala arrived an hour later.

"What the fuck happened here?" Anisha demanded. 

"They ambushed us," Conri reported. 

"I would say they got what they deserved, " Tala smirked. 

"But Hunter seems to stall. "My eyes blazed. 

"Wait, "Tala stated and walked over to the hunter.
