5 Resumption Clara's Pov

Immediately I left Mr Blake's penthouse, I hailed a taxi and went to my apartment. I saw Tiffany standing on the porch looking worried. I sighed and started explaining before she starts lecturing me. ''Tiffany, I'm so sorry I didn't come home yesterday. Something came up''. ''Something came up. But you could have at least picked my calls or called back'' ,she shouted back. I started explaining things to her before she got really mad. I took her inside i told her I was hurt by an unknown man. She got super worried and I sat close to her. She placed a hand on my thigh and I placed my hand on hers.

She was so scared and worried that it showed on her face. She went slightly pale and started making worried sounds.'' Cla, we need to see the police and inform them'', she said it like it's a top secret.'' Tiffany'', I said cutting her off, ''this is the first time this happened to me. The man must have mistaken me for someone else. Maybe I wasn't even his main target. Let's just keep it cool for a while.'' I tried explaining things to her. But she wouldn't listen to me. She wanted us to go see the police asap. So I had to shut her up with another incident.

''Ohhh Tiffany, I got the job at Douglas. B phones.'' she looked at me with surprise and happiness written all over her face. My friend is so dramatic. Moments ago, she looked like she just faced Thanos and now she looks like she just got a present from Santa. '' Waaaaaawww Clara, I'm so happy for you'' , shouted so loud while singing ''I'm so proud of you, I heard the boss is so hot. Did you look him up on social media'' She asked me. ''No I didn't. Its not like I would be working directly for him. I'm going to have my own boss. So he is my boss' boss. ''

'' Ohh OK. But I heard he is hot and popular amidst ladies. Fine face like Greek god. Body like bronze. And he is tall. You both would look good together.''

''Fan!!!!!!!! you need to stop reading romantic novels. The way you think has been polluted. I'm never going to date him and how sure are you that he is hot. What if he is an old man with pot belly and beards hanging around his mouth'' I said.

'' Cla you are a morbid thinker, go get dressed, I'm taking you out. I'm treating you to a special delicacy, all bills on me. I'm taking you to the new famous restaurant and then we come back to prepare for your resumption''. I muttered an ok. I stood up to go get dressed when I saw her giving me a glare. What is it now.

'' Hey cla where were you yesterday. I mean where did you stay after the incident. You were knocked out right? Who saved you?'' she started questioning me.

And her questions made me remember the man I have been trying hard not to think about, the Greek god. I would never forget that handsome face but we would never meet again. I should have given him my name but he sounded so rude and arrogant. But he is hot.

''Hmmm hmmm hmmm'' I cleared my throat '' well I wa s saved by a man who happened to be around and well he helped me'' I shortened the story because I didn't want her asking me questions about the helper.

'' So he is your Knight in a Shining Armour. Try to find him and get married to him. He is your super hero.'' she said while giggling.

'' Shut the fuck up Fan. You have been watching too many romantic movies. You are so fucked up. Please lemme get dressed so we can go out to eat.'' I stood up abruptly trying to avoid anything concerning the handsome Greek god.

We both left in Tiffany's car and she took me to the famous restaurant she talked about the other time. From there we went to the movies and Tiffany's boyfriend, Justin later joined us. They were both acting lovey dovey and I got tired. This was my day and they are stealing it from me. Maybe its high time I got myself a boyfriend. His face popped up in my head. Argghh I should not be thinking of Greek god with the fine ass.

I got tired of the two lovers eating and making out in front of me '' Hey, Justin and Fan you both should stop already. I got no babe to satisfy me and you are heating me up.'' I said and Tiffany and Justin started giggling.

I went home with Tiffany while Justin went back to his place. I saw a small cute car in front of our apartment

. We got out of Tiffany's car and while I was about to ask about the owner of the car, Tiffany pointed a key at my face.

'' Cla, that small car is your present for getting the job. I love you '' Tiffany squealed while handling me the key . I was so happy and moved to tears. Did I tell you that Tiffany came from a rich home and can make some things happen. She just got me a car.

'' Fan you didn't have to. I'm so grateful. Thanks a lot bitch '' I said earning a giggle from her

''Bitchy babe, don't thank me .Justin helped in bringing it over. You are more than a friend to me, you are a sister. You made me feel loved and made me trust again. '' She said with tears in her eyes. After our little CLAFAN moment we went inside and prepared for the next day together.

Its Monday already and I'm so excited. Tiffany helped me in selecting clothes yesterday. So I got up and went straight to bathroom and I did the needed.

I can smell coffee and toast. Ohhh my, Tiffany acts like a mother to me.

We greeted each good morning and we went to our different place of work. The car she got me is so nice that I feel like a queen in it.

I entered the building with Douglas.B phones boldly written on it and I went straight to the receptionist. She directed me to the my boss' office. I entered the elevator and I happened to be the only one going inside and it was about to close when a familiar figure stopped it. What the!!! Greek god?

Wait what is he doing here. He must be one of those directors because he looks so rich and an ordinary worker can't be that rude. He is so handsome in suit and when he stepped in the elevator everywhere suddenly became hot.
