9 Blake's POV

"Blake, meet us at Lifecity Hospital now!''

Mom said from the other line, and she sounded so disturbed. She impatiently didn't let me reply before she hung up the call.

I hope everything is all right. I took my car and went straight to the hospital. I parked hurriedly and went straight to a nurse who happens to know me. She directed me to where mom was and when I got there, I saw mom crying and dad was petting her. What is going on. I'm getting scared already.

''Mom'' I called her with fear written all over my face. ''Blake,I'm so sorry. We lost your sister. I'm so sorry.'' she said within sobs.

''My sister? My sister? My lovely Katherine? My life is never going to be the same again'' was all I could think of. She was two years younger but was my best friend. She told me everything and vice versa. I loved her so much even though she can be obnoxious and stupid. But she is still the best sis I could ever wish for and now she is no more.

We all went straight home and days after we did the burial service. I started becoming distant and cold to people.

After 2 years, dad's business started falling apart. He did all he could to hold up Douglas B.phones but he died untimely. The people who made him go bankrupt are still alive and living well. The doctors diagnosed him of cancer and few months after he died.

I was left alone with mom and the company. And from age 19, I started handling the company myself and I never allowed myself to love anybody except my mom. I'm scared of loving someone and then losing them. I know what it feels like and I don't ever want to feel that way again.

Back to present......

I looked over to the curvy figure beside me and I felt the urge to protect her like she is mine. I don't want anything harming her and that's why she is going to keep staying with me. Not for days but for weeks. Or months...,..... .

'' Babe, we are here already'' I tapped her shoulder to wake her up. She opened her eyes slowly and they have turned red. I would never let her cry, never ever.

She came down from the car without saying anything and I took her straight to my room to change into my shirt. ''Babe, that's the bathroom. Take a shower and wear my shirt'' I said with a smile. She looked at me coyly and muttered a thanks.

I went to the kitchen to find something to make but I'm not much of a good cook. She came down ten minutes later and she looks so sexy in my shirt. My shirt looks better on her than it will ever look on me. '' Love, come here. Let us find something to make'' I winked at her.

'' Stop calling me babe and love'' she pouted at me. She is really tempting me to kiss her and I would if she isn't careful. ''OK darling'' I grinned widely. ''arrrgghhhh, you are annoying. Should I make Spagetti and meat balls'' she said while moving toward the kitchen. '' Yea, sure. Let's see how the curvy lady cooks''.

'' You are dumb'' she said with a wide grin. I wanted to make her happy and I feel completed with just her smile. ''OK my lady. So tell me about yourself, family,love life, and other things.'' I said seriously

'' I'm Clara Tasha Lee. I'm the only child of my parents. I was 18 when I lost my parent. I have one ex, Billy and I ended the relationship long ago'' she explained briefly while she kept cooking.

''Ohh I'm sorry about that. So why did you end things with Billy. '' I asked her so as to divert her attention from her parents. And I hope she didn't break up with him because he is into domestic violence. I would kill any man that touch her.

'' We really didn't go along well. And I later discovered he is into drugs.'' she said with a pout and turned her back to me. She just pouted and now giving me a good view of her ass.

I moved over to her side and trapped her with my hands on each side of the sink. She turned around and her eyes widen instantly.'' what are you doing'' she asked in a whisper-like tone. She bite her lips and I couldn't hold back anymore.

I moved my head closer to hers and she didn't look away. I went straight for her lips and felt a sizzle. I have never felt anything like this since I started kissing. She started kissing me back. I locked my hands around her waist and she hooked her her hands around my neck. She started kissing me hungrily and I met her demands. I needed her so badly that it hurts. She started grinding her hips into mine, I need to be inside her but not tonight.

She glided her fingers through my hair and I let out a groan. I moved my hands to her ass, squeezing and drawing her closer. I grabbed her ass and sitted her on the counter. She moaned into the kiss and I felt her tugging my tie. She eventually removed it and started unbuttoning my shirt. I moved to her neck and suck on it till I saw a hickey. I needed to label her mine and I can start by marking her with hickeys from me. I groaned and stopped the kiss reluctantly'' babe, you don't get more than a kiss tonight. Let's finish cooking and eat. But I need to change out of these clothes'' I said with a cute smile and she looked away from me. Desire is written all over her face and she pouted. I gave her a quick kiss which rapidly turn into heated kiss but she eventually stopped us from going to far. ''go change. '' she said lightly.Did she regret it? I hope not

''OK'' and I left.
