1 The beginning

Mo Mina pushed an enveloped off to one side of her office desk and stood. Her so-called family was recently become persistently, tediously interested in her. Its been fifteen years since her father forcefully shipped her like an item to a different country that she knew nothing of. "It is for your own good. You need to go to private school and learn how to be a noble lady" that was what her father said at the airport. But it was a military school. She was only ten-year-old when her father sends her, and nine years old when she found out that she had a father, a day before her mother passed away.

Technically speaking, she knew the man for a year. And now because her grandfather asked everyone to show up at his Eighty-year-old birthday, her father was insisting she come back home.

Now that she graduated from college. For fifteen years, she never heard of him nor any of his family. Except for her grandfather, who started to visit her after searching for her seven years. They never called nor asked how she was doing. Only her grandfather care to ask how she was doing and kept in touch.

She had been old enough to understand that a bastard child was never welcome in society. But nevertheless, she made through her military school, went to the best university to study IT, and currently own one of the top multi-billionaire game companies in the world, known Double MM.

Even with this success, she makes sure no one knew who the founder and owner of this company were. She was a faceless CEO. Anyone who does business with her will sign a confidential form before meeting with her, and if they break the agreement, they face a lawsuit from her top lawyers.

Also, she owns the Secret, a media house, who keeps a keen eye on anything involving her and her family. She hates surprises, and therefore, she ensures she knows what happening in B country even if she never lived there.

There was a light knock on the door, and Ye Zang, Mo Mina's personal assistant, entered. He was a reliable, problem solver, loyal friend that they met in her university days. He was an indispensable member of her team, and she ensures that he was paid well above his job description.

"Mr. Li is quickly becoming impatient; shall I send him in?" he asked

"How long had he been waiting?"

"Ten minutes?"

"Let him wait for five more minutes, and then send him in."

"But he may not wait, and we need his connection?"

"He will. He's curious why I am interested in making a business transaction with him."

Zang gave Mina a curious look as he left to attend the arrogant business investor.

Mo Mina sat back in her desk and slowly checked the messages on her phone. She sighs as her stepmother sends her text message, asking if she already booked her flight and when will she be back home. Because of her, she was forced to leave the only country Mina knew. And now she was acting as a caring mother.

A light knock came to the door, making Mina turn off her phone and stood up from her desk.

"Mr. Li Thank you for coming." Said Mina as she put one hand forward to shake Mr. Li's. Mr. Li gave a dark look to Mina, but she pretended not to see.

"Miss Mo, When you said it was a matter that couldn't be spoken about on the phone, you had my interest."

Mr. Li tried not to mention his irritation at being kept waiting, it was evident as to how he tightens his lips and the way he looked at Mina.

They sat down at the couch. Mina sat in front of him with her long leg cross while Mr. Li sat down, folded his arms across his chest. "I don't have time for your games, so tell me why you needed to see me?"

"I need to buy your store in Miracle Mall."

Mr. Li studied her for a long moment then said, "Are you planning to move you headquarter to B country?"

Mina smiled, knowingly, "No. I want to open my fifth-five branch in B country?" she emphasis fifth-five to show him how many branches she has, and they are all spread out, as Z country where she currently lives only had two branches, including the headquarter.

"You know, Miracle Mall is one of the top malls, and I do not think the owners will appreciate an international company…"

"You have two choices, Mr. Li. You sell the space to me, or I can directly contact Mr. Wang and asked him directly. What do you think?"

She leaned back against her chair as she watches the changes in Mr. Li's faces. His eyes narrowed, then he barked out a laugh. "So, how well do you know Mr. Wang?" He asked as his eyes travel Mina's body.

"I guess our meeting is over. Mr. Li, I hope the call you will receive from Mr. Wang will be him forcing you out that store and for me to get it… It is your loss.."

Mina stood up and make her way to her desk and picked her personal phone to dial a number.

Mr. Li, shake nervously. He knew, even if he bought that store, Mr. Wang was cocky, manipulative, cunning, and with the help of his lawyers. Mr. Wang will find a loophole to the contract Mr.Li's signed when he bought the store, and he was damn sure he will lose the battle with him in court. Therefore, better he sells to her than ending up losing all.

"Fine, I will sell it to you. For five million…"

Mina smiled, rocked back on her heels as she pocketed her hands in her customer made trousers suite. "You know I can get that store for free, Mr. Li."

Mr. Li shook his head, and he knew it was true. Mr. Wang was known as playboy billionaires, and with Mina looks, he will give the whole Miracle Mall for free.

"Fine, I know you will get for free, but… how about 200,000. You know that store is worth two million?"

She called Zang, and he walked in with the paper, which Mr. Li signed.

"When you send me the title deeds to my lawyers, once they verify everything is correct, I will wire you the money. It is a pleasure doing business with you."

"You and Mr. Wang make a cunning couple. Hope you all rotten in hell."

He walked out with angry all over his face.

Zang looked at her pique interest as he asked her, "Mr. Wang and you? When? How?"

She smiled and sat down on her chair as she looked at Zang. "Oh poor, Zang, I thought you knew me well… I found out that Miracle Mall was owned by the Wang family. And I merely mention his name and Mr. Li panicking."

"You lied to him?"

"No. I just said I will call Mr. Wang and asked him to give me the store…"

"And Mr. Li believes that you know Mr. Wang at a personal level?"

"Always play to your opponent's weaknesses, and you will get whatever you want. That is one thing I learned from Military school."

Ye Zang mentally told himself never to go against her. Her mind game was crazy that he could hardly handle.

"Make sure everything is handled, I am leaving work early."

"Yes, boss." Replied Zang as he walks out of the door.
