3 Mo's Family Meeting

Late in the evening, All Mo's family members sat at the conference room inside Mo's Mansion.

All except the grandchildren. Tung-Mei wanted to reach over and take her husband's hand, Mo BingWen, the firstborn of Grandpa Mo and Chan Huian (Grandma Mo), but instead folded both her hands on top of the conference table. Across from them sat Mo Boqin Secondborn with his wife, FangSu. They sat in the conference room, patiently waiting for their parents to walk into the room.

An older woman swept into the room in a huff. Her sons all stood immediately to greet her. Grandma Mo greeted her sons warmly, then sat stiffly in one of the remaining chairs next to the head of the family chair. And soon enough, grandpa Mo walked in, tall in a casual outfit, unlike his wife, who dressed in a power suit like the ones he would have worn when handling the business transaction.

As soon as grandpa Mo walked, the temperature of the room down about ten degrees with the look, he gave all of them. He took his place and quietly flipped open the folder he came with and began to organize the papers to piles in front of him.

"Husband! Shall we begin the meeting?" the grandma Mo said, and immediately she felt grandpa Mo stiffen beside her. Grandpa Mo cleared his throat. He passed two documents to his sons. The sons picked each paper and open to read them… The surprise on their faces was unbelievable. Grandma Mo made a sound of disbelief somewhere deep inside her chest. While Grandpa Mo sat back on his chair, crossing his ankles under the table. And folding his arm across his chest- a relaxed stance that did nothing to hide as he watches his sons and their wives tension pouring out of them. And soon enough, the quite room turned into a market place.

"Dad, you can not do that…" Said the Mo Boqin

"Yes, for the first time in centuries, I agree with him." Replied Mo Bingwen.

Grandma Mo tapped the table with her hand, trying to calm her sons. "Your Father, change his will because he wants what best for Mo's Family," replied Grandma Mo.

"What best for Mo's family. This is a joke, right, Ma. This is not helping Mo's family?" Replied Mo Bingwen.

He was the firstborn, and it was his right to inheritance the majority of Mo's fortunate, and he was the next in line to be the head of the family and then followed by his son. That was not the case.

According to the will, his son has to agree to enter the challenge with Mo Mina and Mo Fei, and whoever wins inheritance the family fortune. Hence, his blood boiled as he paces around the room.

"Father, a woman can not be the head of the family. A woman place is to get married and raise children and not run a company. Besides, it has always been a father passing the power to his firstborn son and down the generation."

Grandpa Mo continued, maintaining his fake persona of been calm.

"If you do not agree to any of the terms in that document. All the inheritances, plus the CEO of Mo's empire, will go to my precious granddaughter Mina." Replied Grandpa Mo in a calm, soothing voice.

"Mina? That bastard child…" said Tung-Mei. The moment she realized what she said, it was too late for her. Grandpa Mo storms out of his seat. And slapped Tung-Mei across her face, and it was clear that he did not withhold his strength as she fell off the chair, and her entire world fell upside down.

"If you ever call my precious a Bastard, I will kill you… All of you. Do you hear me."

The anger in his eyes was burning as they all fell their heart silent. "Answer Me!" Grandpa Roared. B

But they couldn't their lips trembled. After some time, his sons replied while their wives nodded their heads.

He went back to his seat and glances over them.

"Do you agree, or do you not agree?"

"We agree," they finally said as they all signed the bottom of the page.

He picked up the papers from them and walked towards the door. He stopped for second and glance back at the room.

"I know what you all did sixteen years ago, and if any of you try to hurt her again … I will skin every one of you alive…" He said with a smile on his face and walked out.

Grandma Mo knew what her husband was capable of. He was the Devil, the King of the Kings of the underground, one who is true to his words, and for all those years, she only saw that smile once, and the person who received the smile was now six feet underground.
