We are friends

Sophie was infuriated when Yu Junwei pushed her away. No one had ever treated her this way, but this man was an exception. She heard him shouting, and it boiled her blood. She flipped her hair and grabbed him by his collar as she stood in front of him.

"How dare you push me away?" She bore his gaze at him, who had fallen silent. He looked at her with a frowned expression.

Sophie found the strange silence and turned her head to look. To her surprise, there was an old man and a woman. Sophie looked into Yu Junwei's eyes and then lowered her hands from his collars. She stepped away and looked down.

"Sorry," she said in a low voice.

Yu Junwei tucked his tie and bowed his head. "Grandpa, Mom, you arrived earlier than expected," he said and then lifted his head.

"Leave," Yu Junwei said in a low voice to Sophie.

"I cannot. I need to talk to you," Sophie whispered. Junwei gritted his teeth and glared at her. "Promise me first that you will meet me later," Sophie told him.

By then, security came there and apologized to Yu Junwei.

"Take this woman away," Yu Junwei ordered them.

He then looked at his grandfather and mother. "Please come inside. Don't mind her. She was here to create a commotion," Yu Junwei told them.

Yu Ziyang, the grandfather of Yu Junwei, told the security guards to stop. He turned his gaze to Sophie and asked her, "Are you not the famous actress, S-So..." He knitted his brows as he was unable to recall her name.

Sophie smiled and nodded. "I am Sophie Lin. I am a friend of your grandson." She lied because it was the only way she could communicate with Yu Junwei.

"Grandpa, don't listen to her. She is merely—" Yu Junwei could not complete his words as his grandfather started to speak.

"I have watched your movie in which you acted as a young mother. I loved it," Yu Ziyang said with a smile.

He then turned to look at his grandson and said, "You shall not treat your friend this way! Who calls security for a friend?" He scolded his grandson and told the security to leave.

Katie Yu, the mother of Yu Junwei, looked at her son and then at Sophie.

Yu Junwei told his grandfather and mother to come inside.

"Come, Miss Lin. You are here to talk about something important with the CEO, right?" Katie asked her.

"Umm... I will wait outside," she stated.

"Miss Lin, you do not need to stay outside. You are a big actress! Also, you are my grandson's friend. It is the first time Junwei's friend has visited him," Yu Ziyang stated.

Katie agreed with Yu Ziyang's words and took Sophie towards the couch. Yu Junwei closed the doors and came towards the couch.

Junwei hugged his grandfather first and then mother. Sophie smiled to see them and missed her family too.

As his grandfather and mother settled on the couch, he picked up the landline phone and asked to send three water glasses. Sophie sat beside the mother of Yu Junwei, who had taken the seat on the other couch, facing Yu Ziyang.

"I was going to come to the airport," Yu Junwei said, and he gazed at his mother..

"We wanted to give you a surprise," Yu Ziyang replied.

Wang Zexi opened the door and greeted the grandfather and mother of Junwei. He was shocked to see Sophie Lin in the office.

A peon had also walked in with a tray in his hand. He put the glasses on the table.

Yu Junwei handed water glasses to his grandfather and mother. He picked the third one when Katie asked him to give it to Sophie. Yu Junwei nodded his head. He was going to drink that water, but in front of his mother, he could not say that.

Sophie thanked Junwei and sipped the water.

"You shall leave," Yu Junwei told Wang Zexi, who bowed and walked out.

Yu Ziyang put the water glass on the table and said, "Junwei never told us that he had a female friend. It was shocking for us."

Yu Junwei glared at Sophie for telling such a lie to his grandfather.

"Grandpa, we became friends a few minutes ago," Sophie replied with a smile. Yu Ziyang and Katie were astonished to hear her. On the other hand, Junwei was controlling his anger.

"Ahh, it is like the entertainment agency I belong to has contacted Mr. Yu regarding the upcoming vehicle launch event. My agency wants me to represent this event. So, I was here to converse with Mr. Yu regarding that," Sophie explained to them.

"Junwei never befriended anyone this quickly," Katie said and looked at her son. "It is rare to see, but we are glad," she added, looking at Yu Ziyang.

"Grandpa and mom shall head home. The journey was long, and you both may have been tired," asserted Junwei. He didn't want Sophie to convince his grandfather of this commercial deal.

"Let me talk with Miss Lin," Yu Ziyang made his grandson silent.

"I would like to see Miss Lin at this upcoming event. The profit will skyrocket if Miss Lin promotes it with the CEO of this company," Yu Ziyang said delightedly and looked at his grandson, who faked a smile.

Sophie was glad to hear him. "So, Grandpa Yu, we can sign the deal for this, right? Mr. Yu is a little stubborn, but if Grandpa Yu tells him to sign this deal, then that would be great," Sophie requested humbly.

"Of course," Yu Ziyang stated. "It is not easy to have a great superstar like Miss Lin at the event." Yu Ziyang assured her that Junwei would sign a deal with her. Sophie thanked him and then looked at Junwei, who was still unhappy with this.

Yu Ziyang asked Junwei to come home after completing his work.

"I will," Junwei said half-heartedly.

"Miss Lin, if you don't mind, could you please give me the autograph?" Yu Ziyang asked.

Junwei was unable to understand how to react to that situation. How could his grandfather ask for an autograph from that insane woman? He glared at her, who was overjoyed to find his grandfather wanted her autograph.

"Grandpa Yu doesn't need to request me. He should give order. I will give him a beautiful autograph." She glanced at Junwei and asked him if she could get a notepad.

Yu Ziyang took out the pocket diary from his blazer's pocket and asked her to give autograph in that. He handed her a pen too. Sophie gladly took the pen and opened the diary.

"At the front. I keep it blank," Yu Ziyang said. Sophie nodded at him.

"Father watches Miss Lin dramas and reality shows too," Katie said.

"I love 'The Cooking Show with Sophie' a lot. I have watched both seasons," Yu Ziyang informed her, and it made her smile.

"I am overwhelmed to hear that Grandpa Yu watches my shows. Thank you for always supporting me," Sophie said and signed an autograph on the first page of the pocket diary. She made a cute smily emote and wrote, 'Grandpa Yu' beneath that.

She forwarded the pocket diary to Yu Ziyang and thanked him again.

"I must be grateful to Miss Lin. I have always wanted to meet her, but my busy grandson never took me to her fan-signing event," Yu Ziyang said as he put the diary inside his pocket.

"Next time, I will call you personally," Sophie said.

"We shall take our leave then." Yu Ziyang stood up, followed by the others.

"I will see you two off to the car," Junwei asserted, and he took them out of the office.
