Ye Ruyi switched off the lamp beside the bed. She then closed her eyes and sleep.

The next morning.

All of them woke up early and prepared for the games they came up with.

Ye Ruyi listed the ingredients she wanted for the punishment drinks on a paper and gave it to a servant told her she needed them.

The servant nodded and went out to buy the ingredients listed on the paper.

While Ye Ruyi waited for the ingredients to be bought, she helped out in the kitchen to cook the spicy beef noodles.

Chen Lili was cutting onion while crying. Her eyes stung while she cut the onion. She looked miserable.

"Ah!!! I can't stop my tears and my eyes can't keep open! Wuwuwu.... Help!!!"

Ye Ruyi shook her head helplessly.

"Go and wash your hand. You can prepare the soup base. I'll take over here."

"Roger that."

Chen Lili made a military pose in agreement to Ye Ruyi. She immediately wash her hand and went to prepare the soup.

Once Ye Ruyi was done cutting, she handed it to Chen Lili.

Soon after, the servant who went to buy Ye Ruyi's ingredients came back and handed the ingredients to her.

Ye Ruyi took the ingredients and immediately went to mixed the herbs into the a punishment drinks.

She got everything she needed. She put the herbs into a pot and boiled them with hot water.

After it was done, she tasted it before serving them.

She poured the ready made drinks into the mugs. The smelled from the drinks she made was incredible.

Well, at least to her.

She saw Chen Lili and Xu Wenwen was talking. She then went to them and let them tried the drinks she made.

Both of their face went dark. They had a disgusted look on their face after tasting the herbs drinks.

They commented it's too bitter.

Ye Ruyi didn't understand why they didn't like it. It's just a bit bitter and it was a healthy drink too.

Well, only she thought of that.

Three hours later, the men arrived. They participated all the challenges and they all physically and mentally tired except for the groom.

After that, the groom brought the bride away leaving the others behind.

Ye Ruyi looked at Wang Jiasi's complexion. Her heart ached. She felt a bit guilty.

After all, she was also behind the preparation of the challenges.

"Are you okay?"

"You don't look fine to me. Wait here. I'll get you something to drink."

Wang Jiasi was sweating profusely. That spicy beef noodle was the SSS level spicy to him. He can't handled it.

Ye Ruyi came back from the kitchen and brought Wang Jiasi a cold fresh milk from the refrigerator.

Wang Jiasi took it and drunk it all in one go. Immediately, he felt better than before.

Milk would reduce the spicyness in his mouth.

He had been enduring the spicyness from the beef noodle and played the last two challenges.

Glad that's over.

"Are you feeling better now?"

Noticed that Ye Ruyi was worried about him, he immediately reassured her that he's fine.
