63 Beautiful Friendship

Xu Wenwen silently listened to Lu Jingyi's nagging. What she said couldn't be more true. Because of one man, she avoided all men.

She thought she could overcome it as long as she was not remembering it but she was too naive. The impact she received that day was much too strong on her.

Lu Jingyi didn't hear a word from Xu Wenwen. She was just about to ask if she's alright then suddenly Xu Wenwen pounced on her.

"Woah!?"

Xu Wenwen pounced on Lu Jingyi and hugged her tightly.

"Just let me hug you for a while."

".....You do know you need to pay to hug me although I'm priceless."

Seriously? Lu Jingyi still can make a joke out of the blue at this moment? She just ruined the touching atmosphere they had.

Mo Zhexi watched from a far yet near enough to listen to their conversation. He never knew Xu Wenwen had a teribble past with a man although he didn't know the full story.

He felt kind of guilty for pushing her too far. While watching them, he felt kind of envy of them having such a beautiful friendship.

Then, he heard Lu Jingyi made a joke out that almost had him laughed out loud. He never knew Lu Jingyi could make jokes like that. It was like a sudden attack on the face.

He controlled himself from laughing by pinching his thigh. Although it hurts, it did stop him from having a laugh. Then, he heard them started talking again.

"Did you know I saw an ugly pig just now?"

"Huh? Where?"

Lu Jingyi proceed to give Xu Wenwen the mirror from her handbag.

"Why did you give me a mirror?"

"The ugly pig is inside the mirror."

Xu Wenwen was confused. Other than seeing herself in the mirror, she saw no ugly pig. Seconds later, Xu Wenwen face darkened. She realized she had been pranked by Lu Jingyi.

Apparently, the ugly pig she talked about was her. Because, when she looked at the mirror, she saw herself and she herself was the ugly pig. That's why Lu Jingyi wanted her to look at the mirror.

Motherf*ker!! Xu Wenwen cursed Lu Jingyi with every kind of curse words she knew. Lu Jingyi knew she would be angry and laughed at her for falling into her prank.

Well, she successfully stopped Xu Wenwen from depressing. Although her method was weird and different from others, what matters was that Xu Wenwen was back to normal.

Xu Wenwen wanted to punch Lu Jingyi in the face. Who the hell comfort people like that? She's the only one who can make fun of people when they're down.

Mo Zhexi on the other hand was holding back his laughter from Lu Jingyi's prank. Then, he decided to leave first. He promised himself to apologize to Xu Wenwen after they went back to the building or perhaps.

"Come on, let's go back before everyone finds out you're missing."

"Okay."

After a relaxing yet unrelaxing conversation with each other, Xu Wenwen felt better. She had troubled everyone and will apologize for her action.

She also need to apologize to Mo Zhexi.

Both of them got up and walked straight to the building. Because it's night time, the stars in the sky glistening brightly and the moon was smiling upon them.

Xu Wenwen looked up at the sky and then to Lu Jingyi who was walking in front of her. She murmured a 'thank you' quietly and smiled.

"Wenwen, you're back. Don't scared us like that. You should be grateful that the land belongs to Lu family and the securities are tight. If it wasn't, we would have suspect you have been kidnapped."

Eventually, the adults found out what happened.
