Qiao Nuo was already eating her breakfast when Yi Chien arrived at the dining table, she glanced at him then went back to eating. Yi Chien stared at her for a while before Qiao Nuo glared back. She just got done with her morning pilates, and still wearing a fitted athletic gear. "I can pull those eyes out, or you can start eating"she said. "I swear you always want to pull me apart, so affectionate"Yi Chien replied back.

Yi Chien's assistant soon arrived at the villa with his tablet on hand. Reading the daily news, Qiao Nuo was able to get update as well. The assistant pause for a moment before reading the entertainment section "Ahem"he said looking at Yi Chien. "Cheng Han, I'm paying you to read everything"Yi Chien reminded. "Okay Boss"the assistant said.

"Top Actress Yi Jie, caught having an affair with Director Lu...Jin?"he read, as if asking a question. The two men look at each other. "I lost my appetite"Qiao Nuo said standing up from her spot. "Was that your doing?"Yi Chien asked. "Song Yi Chien, I'm one of the best lawyer in the country. Do me a favor, don't attached my name next to a C level acting actress."Qiao Nuo reminded. "and it's not me, my assistant Shanshan did it."she added.

"Mrs. Song is definitely someone you can't mess with"Cheng Han said. "Don't worry about her, let's go to work."Yi Chien said finishing his breakfast. Song Yi Chien already left for work when Qiao Nuo got done changing. "Butler Liu, I'll be home late. Please let Yi Chien know he can eat dinner without me."Qiao Nuo said. "Yes Madam"the Butler replied.

Shanshan was already waiting next to the elevator when Qiao Nuo entered the building. "Attorney, the E Factory is asking for our cooperation regarding the law suit. They want to compensate."she said. "Tell the opposing counsel if he can restore the worker's health back to normal I'll compensate"she said in her sarcastic tone. Qiao Nuo is aiming to close the factory due to serious negligence. Workers have acquired diseases that can no longer be cured, while living in a heavily polluted town.

Qiao Nuo was busy preparing for her defense when Shanshan reminded her about a meeting with a partner. "You have a meeting with Attorney Chung tonight"she said. "Got it"Qiao Nuo said wrapping up her work.

Attorney Linda Chung was a former mentor of Qiao Nuo, and one of the many bosses of the law firm. One of the waiter assisted her towards a private VIP room. Qiao Nuo sighed seeing the old man inside the room. Mr Han, E factory's president and Linda Chung's ex-husband. Despite their divorce they still have a good relationship.

"It's been a while Professor"Qiao Nuo said trying her best to be as civil as possible. "You look great"the woman said. "Especially after marrying Young Master Song"the old man chuckled. Qiao Nuo got the sense the meeting won't be a good one.

Qiao Nuo didn't like the sweet talk, and went straight to business. "What do you want?"she asked. "How much?"the old man asked. "Dream on"Qiao Nuo said standing from her spot, about to walk away. "Stop acting high and mighty, didn't you marry Song Yi Chien because of your family's business"her teacher said. "Yeah I did, but that doesn't mean I would go even lower to sell my morals"Qiao Nuo said then her teacher replied with a loud slap.

Song Yi Chien who's sitting inside the opposite room frowned after hearing the discussion. Businessmen surrounding him froze.

"Excuse Me"Song Yi Chien said, leaving the room. Two body guards are guarding the door of the VIP room. "Open that door if you still want to see tomorrow's sunrise."he threatened. They hesitated for a moment before Yi Chien pushed them away.

"How dare you"Yi Chien said seeing Qiao Nuo sitting on the floor while touching her cheek. She's not crying at all, instead it looks like she's actually preparing to fight back. "Cheng Han, investigate Attorney Linda Chung for me, and dig some dirt that we can give to our media friends"he ordered. "Yes Boss"Cheng Han said who witnessed everything.

"Touching Song Yi Chien's woman, is like messing with Song Yi Chien himself"he said. Picking up Qiao Nuo bridal style they left the restaurant. "Song Yi Chien put me down"Qiao Nuo ordered. "Stop acting tough all the time"Yi Chien replied, as he slowly put her down.

"That witch gave you a mark"Yi Chien said as he touched her cheek. Qiao Nuo then bit Yi Chien's hand. "OUCH"he yelled. "Why did you bit me?"Yi Chien asked "Who gave you the permission to touch my face?"Qiao Nuo asked.
