In an elegant home almost resembling a mansion a conversation could be heard echoing throughout the entirety of the building. "Arrogant simple arrogant that's all he is!!" A shout was made by Lu Cao He, the man of the household. "Will you calm down? How is yelling about it going to solve any of our problems hmm?" retorted Lu Su Mei his wife. "Mother is right Father mind your health being angry isn't good for your blood pressure," the second daughter Lu Peng Yan said as she coaxed her father to sit down.
After which she signaled a maid to bring some calming tea for her father to drink. "What great deeds did I do in my past life to deserve a daughter such as you? Such a filial daughter," said Lu Cao He as he received the tea. Giggling Lu Peng Yan simply smiled at her father before asking " Father, did you go see Qin Luo Cai today, did the meeting not go well?" Cao sighed deeply before replying "Ah we went to that arrogant youngster to strike a partnership between the companies. But he declined claiming he had no need for a partnership and that he needed to spend time with his son and a partnership would affect that" " Then what about the child's mother?" Peng Yan asked.
"She left them soon after the child was born is what people say so he raises the child with the help of workers apparently" replied Cao He. Peng Yan secretly smiled and said, "How tragic if only the child's mother was still around Mr. Qin might agreed to your offer what a pity". Almost as soon as she said this Lu Su Mei seemed to have an epiphany "Exactly if he had a wife and a mother for the child he would have no reason not to agree with the partnership" she said smiling slyly "Continue...." Cao He said Su Mei winked at Peng Yan "Well what if we introduce him to Peng Yan, I mean our daughter is without a doubt one of the most loving, caring and understanding woman out there don't you think and not just any can compare to her beauty and poise" Su Mei said holding the arms of Peng Yan from behind as if advertising a product "Hmmm..." Cao He didn't seem convinced. Su Mei walked behind and massaged his shoulders why leaning down to his ear "And also I happen to know that our little Peng Yan has a crush on Mr. Qin, so how about we help her get him hmmm." whispered.
Cao He looked at his daughter before sighing "Very well then let's give it a try" he said. Su Mei went over to Peng Yan happily pulling to the side to talk about clothes for the upcoming meeting with her one true love. Amidst the chatter in another room close to the commotion sat a young girl doing embroidery as she sat and listened to her family speaking joyfully. Breathing out a sad sigh she looked up to her roof thinking about how much she longed for a loving family. This young lady was , Lu Yun Mei, the eldest daughter of the Lu household.
