Meanwhile, unknown to Davis, Lucy had heard his few words which were loud enough to reach her ears.

She was returning to the living room when her ears caught the noise.

On coming closer to both of them, she made a wild guess that they were fighting. But in front of her, they were simply standing facing each other. Due to the distance, she failed to see their expressions but Davis's few words made her heart skip a beat.

'Mother of his children? Wife for an eternity?' Lucy failed to catch the few other words because they weren't so loud.

Yet her mind went through sentiments. A small blush crawled on her cheekbone as she gasped back.

Bringing her hand to stop herself from screaming anything, she covered her mouth with her wild thoughts running in different directions. But she had to pacify herself from the moment.

Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, Lucy finally came in front of the men.
