339 Just Pretending

Instead of going home and packing up, Tom went to a nearby pub to grab a few drinks just enough to make him sleep tonight. He is sure that taking a bath won't cool off the heat that his body is having for Amy, he needs something stronger.

He was enjoying his own company sitting alone in far most corner of the bar thinking about his next move when Theo's bodyguard sat beside him.

"Hey, you here too? I apologize in advance for prying but you've got some nasty scars there. It reminds me of the day of the explosion in your boss' wellsite. What happened to you, if you don't mind." the bodyguard said as he invited himself to sit beside Tom.

"You know about it? Something similar happened to me. Got it from trying to save some people in my previous job," Tom replied.
