Chapter 45

　　Blink.

　　Blink again.

　　My eyes are greeted with perfect male facial features. Asher sleeps like a God.

　　My eyes trail down his perfectly closed eyes down his well chiseled jawline and then his lips. Those lips he almost had on mine if Alora had not interrupted us. I am currently entwined in his arms and iI have never felt so protected in my life.

　　If this is what it feels like to be in his arms all the time, then I’m willing to give us a chance.

　　“Good morning sunshine” He greets with his eyes still closed.

　　“How do you know I’m awake?”

　　“I can feel your gaze on me sweetheart” He says opening his starling brown eyes. I bring up my hand and place my palm on his cheek and gently caress it. “If you keep doing that I might be tempted to kiss you” He whispers in a hoarse voice and I swallow dryly.

　　I might just get that kiss I have been waiting for.
