142 The Sole Reason

Risha developed an incredible strength that required four guards to lift her away, stopping her in time from lashing out on me again. Her voice pierced through the fabric of my skin as she continued her verbal brutality.

When they drag her body away, her hands secured by the guards to ensure that they take control of her claws, the gold in her eyes disappears. Risha's eyes turn back to its original chocolate-colored orbs, and she notices her position. 

"Wait! I've done nothing wrong. Why are you dragging me away?" I had no choice but to shut away from her petrified voice that rings through my ears. 

The doctor arrives at the perfect moment after the shouting servant disappeared down the stairs. The conversation between my father and him are inaudible in my dazed state. I awoke and recoiled away when I felt cold fingers touching my bruised cheeks.
