During the war of the deities, Thapabia took no participation in this vile act. Instead, she built a kingdom of her own. With her ability to heal, she took in those who have morphed unfairly into horribly looking creatures. 

Although she could no longer turn them back to humans, the best she could do was make them something close to being human. She turned them into mermaids. A human-like creature that lives underwater. Her kingdom, surrounded by water, served as a protection to the people she saved. 

Those that mermaids lived in peace and safety through the war. And as the years go by, the kingdom prospered. Thapabia gave them the power to heal, to carry out her most remarkable ability. 

However, such power is only limited. Thapabia learned from what happened to her sisters that giving too much can be dangerous.
