102 Split In Half

Today is the day. I woke up bright and early, taken a shower, and slid into the green dress prepared for me on my bed. Another face came in to help me with my hair, braiding it all up so that it won't bother me during my first training in ages. 

Faye had left the kingdom when the sun rose. The entire afternoon yesterday, Ducan helped her with what she needed. They prevented me from going with them, having me stay in my room for the rest of the day. 

How I wished I never bothered with Ducan's loud room experiments, and maybe they would have never caught me. I could have gone further with my exploration and see what's inside the old door barrel door that took my interest at the end of the short hallway. 

That doesn't matter now since today marks the first day of my training with the help of the scary lady, Lohene. I don't know what I would expect from her, but she does look strict.
