56 Sailing Toward Danger I

Rhys jumps on the boat causing it to rock side to side. He walks about, testing its durability, checking for holes and its sails. Faye, on the other hand, is running through the number of messages that Tinsel has to deliver to Blossom. She talks about the fauns we had to face on the way here and about the sailing boat.

But my eyes are focused on what's ahead of us. The terrifying storm that awaits us is giving me discomfort, and to sail toward it is suicide; the waves would swallow us whole. I'm worried that the entrusted eagle won't achieve his purpose. How could they trust a bird just like that? Would it know what to do?

"I've checked everything, and it seems like we're good to go. It's not much room, but we'll have to make do," Rhys speaks up, cutting me off of my thoughts. My eyes wander from the frightening scenery to the knight who stood below me, on a floating wood.
