The people of Beorene loved their queen. She was a fair ruler, and for the first few years on the throne, the lands were quiet and at peace. Queen Jastira hated the thought of war between the kingdoms. She had always wondered why the deities would result in division and conflict when it only results in grave sadness and loneliness. 

Queen Jastira believed that some things are never achieved by yourself, and it's always best to have allies by your side. During her time and the years before, the kingdoms were individually independent of each other. She analyzed that having no connections with other lands had only increased poverty and brought stagnant development.
