127 Learning How To Walk

The time goes by quickly as it has been four days since I woke up back in this castle. I spent my days after that night curing myself of the physical and emotional pain. I wouldn't have recovered from the trauma inflicted on me without the help of Mina. 

A salve brought by Ranir helped to quicken the healing process on my leg. Mina would visit me every night to spread the ointment on my leg. And in a matter of days, the green swirling pattern disappeared, and so did the pain. 

It required tremendous effort to start walking again. I felt as if I was back to being a toddler, falling a couple of times before learning how to walk. But through it all, I persevered.

Mina strictly kept me inside my room for those days. The king ordered the servants to keep a close eye on me and that I must never leave my room even if I'm in a better condition.
