61 Feast For Visitors

I dig through all of our things, looking for my bag. My heart almost stopped when I thought that I could no longer find it, then I realized that it sat on the counter.

'It wasn't there before,' I thought to myself.

Taking glances at Faye, who laid on the bed peacefully, I approached my bag. I thoroughly check for anything that's missing, but thankfully, everything that I kept is still inside especially Frida's jar.

I lift the jar, examining it for any cracks or damage it may have from the harsh storm it encountered. Much to my delight, it's unharmed. So I shove it back inside the bag where it'll stay safe, hiding the bag under one of the drawers near my bed.

Just then, Faye groans, alerting me, and I rush to her side. Her eyes start to flutter, as it's threatening to open. I hold her hand, and I whisper, "Faye, are you alright?"

"Where am I?" she groggily asks, her eyes are still closed. She must be finding it hard to open them.
