I never knew that the story of how this island came to be and the existence of water nymphs ended so tragically. I thought Brimore could have survived for many years, and her being Thapabia's daughter was unexpected. 

Alke nods eagerly, "it's by the first waterfall we passed by."

"So you are all descendant of Brimore-" Rhys added. I noticed how attentive he was during storytelling. He leaned in so close to me to glance at Alke that I could barely focus. He must be intrigued by the tale. 

"No. every three years, about five of us are born through the water. The very first creation is no longer with us except Agatha. She was there when it first came to be," Alke explains clearly.
