65 Commotion On The Beach

The odd island ardently glowing occurrence lasted for about a minute before everything starts to calm down, and the glow disappears. Everyone was silent for some time, trying to understand and take in the series of events. 

Even the nymphs who have lived here for years could barely understand nor expected the phenomenon. Who could have been powerful enough to heal the entire island? And cause the creatures to retreat with such frightful expression. 

We're all lost. And the thoughts of the tree burning slipped our minds for a second, only for a second. Almost everyone, including me, came back to our senses the instant.

And in unison, we gasp, "Agatha-"

I push myself off the ground, wincing in pain upon remembering the deep wound I obtained. The blood continues seeping out from the cut, my eyes going wide as I stare at it.
