59 Emilia's Struggles

"Welcome back, students. How are you, why do you all look so depressed?"

We all got out of the carriage one by one, while not saying a single word. I didn't have the courage to even look Lisa in the eyes. Iris had to handle this one.

"Just what happened? Why is Michael missing his arm? And where the hell is Yoru?"

I glanced at Iris but she didn't notice my gaze. She was painfully aware of what she had to do now. As the leader of the group, she would be the one informing Lisa.

"Don't tell me…"

But Lisa had probably roughly figured out what happened. This realization made Iris finally open up and the hug from Lisa was the last push needed. Iris told the story from the beginning, about our adventures to our achievements to finally our downfall.
