I blurted out the question I had just asked myself in my mind. Lisa reacted with a shocked expression at first, but it only took a small time frame for her to regain her composure. Emilia probably hadn't noticed this shift in her expression. Although I had to admit, Lisa always did a good job of keeping her friendly face, always having a smile on it. I had long suspected that her real emotions are hidden this way and her slip up somewhat confirmed this theory.

"Yes, that's true. I'm surprised you have noticed. The hybrids send to the schools are only the second rate ones. All the ones with combat experience have been taken in by the military right away. They are brought into different division based on their individual strength, so not all of them have a harsh live there. But most of them, especially the more skilled ones, do."
