Unexpected rescue

Henry approached the man, he seemed to be attending to someone, a girl who looked the same age as henry, but shorter. He didn't approach the girl and totally ignored her, knowing he won't stand a chance, he just wasn't good with the ladies.

"Good day, sir," he greeted the man, who had was bald but had a large, bushy beard

The man noticed him, and thinking he was another customer replied

"Hello kid, what would you like to buy from me today," he said with a smile

"Uhm, nothing really... please, i thought I could borrow a transmitter to make a very important call," henry replied, with a wry smile

The man's face instantly changed, from a smile to a deep frown

"You little brat, think you can come here and prank me just because I'm ordinary. If you are not buying anything, get lost!" he retorted with annoyance

"Huh," henry didn't expect the sudden outburst "What a cranky old man, well i better get moving, I've stayed to long here," he thought

"You can use mine,"

He was about leaving when he heard a voice, a soft female voice

It was the girl who was talking with the man before, the same one he had ignored and now she was offering to help him

Henry looked at her with gratitude, he also checked her well this time, she had short pink hair, with brown eyes and a not so busty stature. She was only a little bit shorter than henry and she wore a full pink outfit to match her hair

"Here, you can simply search for whomever you want to contact," she said, handing him a watch that had a screen

"Thanks a lot," he replied, collecting the device, wondering if phone numbers even existed in the world

He quickly turned it on and inputed pegasus guild, and results appeared, one containing the emergency line of the guild's base in iris city

He immediately dialed without thinking, it processed for a while before a voice was finally heard from it.

"Hello, this is the pegasus guild's reception, how may we help you," a voice, clearly that of an adult woman spoke through the watch

"Oh, thank God," henry thought, before replying the woman

"Hi, I'm henry, i was brought into the guild's base yesterday by master xavier and leader jane," he said hurriedly, making sure to put jane and xavier in high regard

"Hmm, i heard about that, i thought you were already with Triad," the woman replied, suprised

"I was, but those guys are fucking nuts, they want to kill me, please tell jane, xavier or anybody, I'm in serious danger!" henry replied, in a loud and frightful tone, oblivious to the girl who was standing next to him, looking at him in shock and awe

"Okay, understood. Where are you now?" the woman asked

"I have no idea, but I'm on the run, i could be anywhere, and i also could be hiding. Please just tell them to find me,"

"Okay, I'll get help as soon as possible," the woman replied assuringly

"okay, thank y..."

He was suddenly cut off by miley

[Henry, we need to move now!] She yelled in his head, panicking

"Miley rarely panics, unless...fuckk," he thought, having a look of horror as he raised his head to the east side

Just meters away from him were two triad agents in full bulky, battle armor. He recognized them through their logo

"Shit, they found me?"

Henry quickly disconnected the call, handed the watch back to the girl and bolted

"Thanks again for the help, you're too kind," he said to the dazed girl, before sprinting out in the opposite direction of east, moving quickly and blending in with the crowd

"Who was that guy?" she thought as henry dissappeared into the distance

Henry had been running and avoiding Triad agents for 20 minutes, and help was yet to come, he found a secluded two way alley and settled by a large trashcan, staying out of sight

"Hah..hah..hah, i can't take it anymore, these guys seem to be everywhere, I'll have to hide," he said, fully exhausted

[You can't do that anymore, i think you have a tracker on you] Miley stated

"What! you're just telling me this now, how is that even...fuck that explains why they seem to be around my every location,"

[Luckily i don't think it pinpoints your exact spot, just your location area, if not, you would have been caught already]

"Well, it doesn't make it any better, I don't even know where the tracker was placed, and where the hell is my help, i contacted that lady minutes ago," he said in frustration

[I can try to scan your body for it, but it might take so...] Miley suddenly paused in the middle of her sentence

"What, why'd you stop?" henry asked with unease

[They're here] She replied in a low voice

"What do you mean, here?"

And as if answering his question, 5 heavily armed agents in battle suits emerged from one side of the alley

Henry sensing them, immediately stood up on instinct and ran towards the other side, but immediately stopped, as another 5 agents showed up at the other end

He was surrounded, with no way of escaping this time, he was truly fucked this time around

"Wow, they sent out a strike team for me, how flattering. I'm i that threatening?" henry scoffed at them, trying to stall hoping for a miracle

One of the agents on the left side of the alley walked up to henry

"It's over kid, surrender and nobody has to get hurt," he said moving closer to henry

"Hurt? y'all trying to kill me anyways, so I really don't care what happens, cause I know you won't kill me, you need me alive and conscious for the procedure," he said confidently, remembering one of the streets rule; Always appear confident in the face of your enemies, even at death, It keeps them confused.

But these ones weren't having it "Fine, we'll just cripple you then," the agent said, his voice cold and uncaring

Henry gulped hard, he was not confident at all, he had lost this one, he raised his hands in the air and surrendered

"Perhaps I'll try and escape again on the way back, with a skill. Miley prepare my health points for trade," he ordered inwardly

"Put your hands behind your back," the agent yelled, and henry complied

He sighed with relief, they all did. In a way they actually feared this kid, he was of unknown identity, and he escaped from the base undetected

"Suspect apprehended, we got him," the agent spoke into his comms

"You gave us a lot of trouble kid, even with a tracker, you were hard to find," he looked at henry with curiosity and annoyance. He walked up to him, as did the rest of the agents, they were now very close to henry, forming a large circle around him

He reached henry and looked at his smiling face, holding back the urges to punch the kid, he brought out some kind of advanced glowing handcuffs.

But before he could lay a finger on henry, something unexpected happened.

The agent body suddenly fell to the ground, his head cleanly detached from his body, he had a terrified expression on his dead face

The rest of the agents including henry were completely dumbfounded and had looks of horror on their faces, they didn't see anything pass, the man had died just like that, no attack, no struggle. Nothing

They rest of the agents immediately

panicked, they activated their weapons and abilities, ready for a fight, but the assulter wasn't engaging

A large shadow suddenly passed by them, henry had seen nothing except for a quick darkness that dissipated as fast as it came, but all of the remaining four agents on the left side were now dead, their neck's twisted in a horrific manner.

The agents on the right side immediately felt a wave of fear wash through them, sending cold chills down their spines. Literally

"Fuck...requesting backup, we're been attacked by an unknown, unseen force, at the apprehending point, send help quick!" one of the agents screamed into his comms, as he retreated slowly

"Ok sending backup now, how many of you are left?" a voice replied through his comms

"Uhm five, we're only fi..."

"Are you sure about that?" he was cut short by a sweet mature feminine voice that came from nowhere, one that was in contrast to the kind of beast massacring them

The agent didn't understand that statement, until he looked around, to his cold horror

All the four agents around him had been petrified, they had practically turned into ice, each frozen from the insideout, they all died with fear written on their cold blue faces

The agent knelt down in defeat

"What are you?" he asked henry; who was still fazed from the occurrence, wondering if the attacker was an ally, or an enemy, he needed to worry about.

He had received a miracle, but not the type he'd expect, and seeing as he was still standing with his head still attached to his body, he knew the assulter was an ally.

A light chuckle was heard from the other far end of the alley, henry immediately turned to see who it was, that had saved him

Walking slowly and confidently across the alley was a tall woman, she exuded a cold yet welcoming aura, she had long white hair that reached her waist, and henry's thought immediately went to a certain persistent lady.

But he was disappointed as her face came into view, she was a completely different person, but she looked very familiar still, she had sapphire, piercing eyes just like emily, but she was a more mature version, her long legs outlined well with the black fitted trousers she wore and her curves were visible through the white trenchcoat she adorned herself with. A beauty she was.

"You need not accuse the boy of anything, it was all me," she said, raising her hands up, as if surrendering

The agent was at a loss for words, he couldn't process anything anymore, this was all too shocking for him

"Agent Kyle, what's the situation, who is it?" a voice spoke thru his comms, but he couldn't dare reply. He was too scared, he had encountered the cold death

Henry was still trying to remember where he saw the woman, even linking her with emily, but even he was still shaken by the damage she had caused. He was vary of her

She stopped by his side, smiled and winked at him, and in the blink of an eye she was directly in front of the agent.

"Go on then, answer the kind gentleman," she said with a smile, pointing to his bracelet

He was frightened as hell, but he raised his shaking hands slowly and spoke

"Um...uhh...It's...its leader jade," he replied, his voice filled with fear

She clapped happily "Good, that wasn't so hard, was it. I might not kill you but..." she paused

Her eyes became cold, and her voice even colder

"You have trespassed against me by threatening a potential property of mine, and you will face the consequences." She said, showing no ounce of mercy.
