25 Supergirl (part 2)

"No, not to my knowledge" I replied.

Supergirl tilted her head "Oh, you just seem familiar to me"

"I think id remember meeting you, so what brings you to the watchtower"?

Supergirl started walking towards the main deck. "A little bit of boredom and I also wanted to meet all the people my cousin teamed up with"

Curiosity and boredom, I get it. I decided to let her do her own thing and I headed back to the crows nest and checked up on earth. Still nothing, as boring as ever. In the shows, this place always seemed busy and I assume that is because you wouldn't want to watch an episode where nothing happened and so all of those boring days were cut out.

After checking on earth I looked around to see what Supergirl was doing, only to find her right behind me looking at what I was doing. I realized I've had my guard down since she arrived. Normally I would constantly be aware of any new ki signatures approaching me. I should remember her signature for the future anyway since she's an important figure in this world.

I opened up my senses and looked at her ki. Right after checking it, I mentally facepalmed. I was just like every dumb protagonist I couldn't stand reading about in my old life. Supergirl's name was Kara when she was out of costume and the blonde hair and blue eyes.... How did I not put two and two together? To be fair, she didn't reveal her family name, just her first name and other blue eyed blonde haired Kara's exist in this world I'm sure, but I was still disappointed in myself.

It makes sense now though. When I had first met her on the water tower she was listening to one of my songs and said her cousin introduced her to it. I had told Superman to look me up and share my music with the people around him and of course superman wouldn't lie when he says he will. Not only that, when I met her today she recognized me, but couldn't figure out I was the same guy she met on the tower because I changed my costume since then.

"You okay? Something wrong?" Supergirl asked looking worried.

I waved my hand. "No, I was just thinking about something. I'm okay."

She walked in front of me and bent over the console. "What were you doing on here? What do these buttons do?"

I was sitting in a chair and therefore my line of sight was lower than normal. Although she was lacking in the chest area, she made up for it in other places. I enjoyed the view a few seconds before offering up my chair. "Sit here, I'll stand and show you a thing or two"

Supergirl took my seat as I walked in front of the console. "This button here will send an alert through the whole watchtower and alert the justice league through their coms as well. The watchtower will usually do this on it's own if it picks up a threat, but some beings can hide from even the best of computers". Supergirl didn't say anything and so I looked back to see if she understood, only to see her face was as red as an apple.

After sitting in the chair, she realized the view I would have had, because she now has a similar view.

I realized it instantly and held back my laugh while trying to pretend I didn't notice her embarrassment. "These buttons here are for different camera feeds and the switch next to it is to talk through them if need be. Any questions?"

She shook her head no and then finally spoke up "Why didn't you say anything?"

I hadn't expected her direct questioning so it took me a bit by surprise, but I answered honestly. "I didn't mind, but I got up and offered you the chair, because I thought that you would".

She looked away her face even redder than before. "Thanks for having the decency, no matter how late. You should also know I have someone I'm a little interested in, so don't get any ideas".

I chuckled "I have 0 thoughts about you, don't worry".

This comment seemed to upset her and she stormed out of the watchtower. "That's good, keep it that way, I've got to go. " she said on her way out.

Women either love me or hate me, there is never an in between. On the bright side, I won't have an agent telling me to make an apology video.

Supergirl's POV:

After flying out of the watch tower she made her way back to Metropolis. A man has never talked to her that way before. She had never been so embarrassed and angry. That guy had to have seen quite a bit from that angle!

"I hAve ZEro thoUGHTs aBouT yoU" yeah right! That's why his eyes were everywhere inside her skirt!

He's nothing like the easy going and kind Hero Moonlight Knight she had met on the water tower or the beautiful Indie artist she was infatuated with. Prince Aeric spends his time helping out the community and even sang for the wounded victims of the Alien invasion for free. Not only that, his voice flowed like water.

Now that she thought about it, she never asked him his name when she was up on the watchtower. Ugh, who cares! He's a creep! She doesn't need to know who he is! Who cares if he was a little attractive, his voice was scary as hell anyway. On this day, she vowed to avoid ever seeing that man again if she could help it.

Supergirl popped her headphones in and listened to her music, almost instantly calming down. Even she herself did not understand why his comment had upset her. When she first saw him through the observation deck, she found him easy on the eyes and as they talked, she felt comfortable as if it wasn't their first time talking.

After realizing he had seen so much and didn't care, it didn't make her feel good at all. Sadly, Supergirl was too stubborn and inexperienced in this field to explore her real feelings on the matter at this point in her life.

Was it love? No, of course not. They barely knew each other. She wanted him in another way. A way chemistry can only dictate.
