82 First day of filming

"You pick up my teachings faster than my son who is of Kryptonian birth and therefore should be able to learn it faster than any outsider, What is your secret?" asked Jor-El.

"My race does well with martial arts, but it's mostly pride." I replied.

Watching dragon ball as a kid on my old earth, I hadn't been focused on the main characters like a lot of avid watchers of the show or readers of the manga. The character I valued most was ironically Vegeta, the very persons body I now possessed. He worked harder than any other character and did not like it when his hard work was trampled upon by those with talent. His royal background, competitiveness, and Saiyan pride pushed him to be the best no matter what the situation.

Some saw Vegeta as cocky or even a bad guy, I myself couldn't help but think he was the most real and most human character in dragon ball despite not actually being human. He might have been cruel at times, but he was equally caring of those he loved in his own way. Vegeta was a grade A tsundere in my opinion.

Vegeta had not received any love growing up from those he wanted it from most, like his father. From birth he had many responsibilities and expectations laid on his shoulders. Because of these things, he had no idea on how to love others himself. As an Orphan I understood his character design to some extent. He put up guards around him so others couldn't get close, but some people that saw through him would simply walk through those barriers and get close to him no matter if he pretended to not like it or not.

"Pride huh?" Asked Superman upon hearing our exchange in words. "Pride is a double edged sword Moonlight, it is one of the 7 deadly sins for a reason".

I waved my hand at his words. "Neither of us are religious Superman, instead of preaching to me, how about you put that energy into your training?"

Jor-El hearing our words laughed whole heartedly. "I like your new friend Kal-El, you shouldn't always surround yourself with only 'yes-men'. It's good to also have friends that will tell you like it is and are real to you without putting on any fronts, these kinds of people might seem over bearing and rude at most times, but they are usually the most dependable as well if you treat them well".

Superman didn't like to admit it, but in his heart, he had started to see Moonlight Knight as his rival at some point. Having never had someone on the same level as his own before to compete with outside of his enemies, he did not know how to feel about it. At some point the Justice league had started to value Moonlight Knight's power and abilities above his own, or at least that's how it felt, and now his own father looked at him favorably.

Seeing Superman lost in his thoughts I spoke up, breaking him away from whatever he was thinking about. "I have been thinking for some time now that we should do a charity event. Maybe we could have a fighting tournament where anyone can join and see who is the strongest on earth. We could do it yearly. All the money earned from the broadcast and ticket sales can go to the charity of the winners choosing. What do you say? It will probably also make earths people feel closer with us and look at us more favorably with time as well".

Superman felt the idea wasn't bad, but he wondered if such a thing would really be that popular amongst earths people. "What about collateral damage? What if an audience member gets hurt?"

"I can assure their safety" I replied. I remembered the Daxamite space ships training facility. I was sure that I could rig something together with time.

Superman nodded "Okay, but we will have to discuss it with the rest of the league and get the proper approval from the government"

Having agreed to some extent on the future Earth tournament, we both continued with Jor-El's teachings and learned quite a lot. After training for another couple of hours, I said my goodbyes, promising I would come back daily. I then headed over to the first filming location that director Shane had told me about via text.

Landing near the set where nobody was around, I removed my costume and walked the rest of the way until I was stopped by security. A middle aged man in casual clothing abruptly moved in front of me. "This area is currently off limits, we are trying to set up some things for a festival that is happening soon" the man lied. It was a common tactic to use when securing a filming site. Many every day citizens and paparazzi upon finding out filming was going on, would try to crash the set and or take pictures.

"Check with director Shane, my name is Prince Aeric, I'm supposed to be filming today". I said as pushed the mans hand out of my face, fairly angry at his attitude towards me, but I tried to be understanding considering he was just doing his job.

The middle aged man pulled out a pad of paper from his back pocket and looked at it for a second. "Okay, go on in, I'll try to remember your face in the future".

I nodded my head and walked past him as I made my way to the set. Seeing Robert Downey Jr talking to the a somewhat pretty actress that I did not recognize, I walked their way, hoping to find out who she was and see how Rob was doing. Id check in with Shane after. Everyone that was currently here was somewhat early anyway.

As I was heading their way, I was stopped by a man who looked a couple of years older than me. "Go grab me a water and an apple, make sure you peel it first though, I don't want the skin to get stuck in my gums before I shoot my first scene". The man said as he waved me away without looking at me.

Before backhanding the man into space, I tried to be patient with him like I had been with the security guard a second ago. "Sorry, you have the wrong person, I am actually an act-" **CLAP CLAP**

"Why are you still here? Shoo shoo, The help should be seen not heard. Go find me what I asked of you boy". Clapping his hands in my face and talking down to me, he had a smug look on his face as he continued to not even so much as glance at me.

My jaw and fist's both clenched as I tried to reign in my boiling anger, I had forgotten how insufferable some actors and actresses could be.

Just then Robert came over. "Ah, Paul, I see you have met Aeric. He's an actor just like us, please pardon him if he has upset you somehow, we will be on our way".

As Robert tried to pull me away in his attempt to save me from an unsavory situation. The man named Paul spoke again. "An actor? Like me? you two? Don't make me laugh, we are not the same. Oh, and next time maybe let people know who you are beforehand so they don't mistake you for someone that does manual labor jobs. You can't blame me when you look the part". His last bit of words were obviously directed towards me.

My anger had finally reached it's peak.
