...

New Task: The Thanagarian Invaders have just arrived on earth.

Scavenge parts and Nth metal from them and other places and then make a working Iron Man suit of armor for the Iron Man movie you have been making plans for over the last year. The closer the suit is to the Mark 85 armor, the bigger the reward.

Added details: Needs to be more than just a prop, must not only be useable in a real combat situation, but the suit of armor must be gifted to the actor playing the character after filming concludes.

Reward: ???

Bonus: Make a more advanced Mark 85 armor and gain additional rewards that will help you in your directing and acting career.

Deadline: End of filming

Looking at the new system task I thought it was probably the most unique task I had received since arriving on earth. It was unique for a number of reasons. The reward wasn't listed and it wanted me to create something not only to be used in my movie, but also to be given to the actor I chose for the role. A very strange task compared to the previous ones given.

Right after receiving the task, I heard batman in my com ear piece. "We had just been attacked by an alien force called the Gordanian's, but the Thanagarian's arrived just in time to help us. They have requested to speak with our world leaders and since it was an urgent matter they have already been granted an audience for tomorrow. I wish for all Justice League members to attend if they are able."

The com call was to all league members and so I saw no reason to respond. I decided to make time and attend tomorrow with the rest of the league, but before that I wanted to get a head start on the system task and so I beamed back home and got on the Moonlight computer.

To make a Mark 85 armor, I decided to search through bad guys that had access to nano technology that I could just grab and have as a base for my future Iron Man armor. Eventually I narrowed my search down to one person. Virgil Adams was villain that had stolen a nano suit of armor from Star Labs and used it for crime. His armor was not only made from nano tech, but it was impervious to most physical combat.

This would be my second time stealing stolen goods from a thief and I had no problem doing so, but I didn't want to just steal a suit of nano armor and give it a paint job and then call it a day, I wanted to make something that was better than the Mark 85 and to do that I had a very devious thought and so I quickly changed my appearance to resemble Master Roshi from Dragon Ball.

Pulling out one of the legion rings I put it on my finger and then willed myself to go to a specific point in the time and space. In an instant I found myself outside a huge dark and creepy mansion far into the future.

First I scanned for ki signatures and found only one within the castle which appeared to be a sleeping old man even though it was still day time out. I needed to be fast and so I ran into the mansions front doors and then ran around as fast as I could until I found what I was looking for.

In front of me was an old grandfather clock that was out of place in this high tech time period. Without delay I tore away the clock from in front of the wall which revealed a hole behind it with a stone staircase leading below the mansion. I sped down as quickly as I could until I found a large glass display case with a black and red Bat suit inside it.

I knew I had only a second to take it if I didn't want to face the old man that had been sleeping upstairs and so I broke the glass which immediately set off alarms and closed off the cave and mansions exits. Even the grandfather clock entrance had closed up again with a thick metal sheet.

Right as I was placing a beautifully written I.O.U. note inside the display case that used to hold the bat suit I was now holding, I heard the voice of the old man I had been hoping to avoid. "Drop it or I'll drop you."

Turning around I saw an old hunched over Bruce Wayne pointing his cane at me. If I was a typical Gotham thug Id have been scared shitless because I knew Bruce did not get kinder with age, the man was an absolute menace as an old man. Thankfully, with my current power I had no reason to be afraid of the man.

Still his presence and the way he had just shown up without me realizing it had caused me to get a little nervous and release some gas. "BuRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" I faced the older Bruce Wayne in my Master Roshi disguise awkwardly as the fart echoed on repeat through the huge quiet cave. At this point I decided Bruce could never know that it was me that had stolen from him and that I needed to take this to my grave.

"Did you jus-"

Before he could finish his sentence I disappeared from in front of him and arrived back in my normal time period and checked out the loot I had obtained from my travels with a big smile on my face, completely forgetting about my recent embarrassing moment.

I didn't feel bad for taking it. I wasn't stealing. I left an I.O.U. and we not only knew each other well, but I would make sure the bat suit would be used for good. Bruce would probably just make a new one and maybe even improve it in the process.

After putting the bat suit in my systems inventory, I re-pocketed the legion ring vowing to never use it again and then I headed for Virgil Adams last place of residence to steal his nano armor.
