10 Chapter Ten

~Titan's POV~

I'm pacing around my room, trying to figure out what was going on. The wolf, Mocha, yay she has everybody twirled around her tail. She's trouble and I need to figure out what she is planning.

*Knock knock knock*

I jolt and look at the door.

"Hey Titan, can I come in?" Tsunami asks, I sigh and let her in. Backing up from the door I notice that Karma was with her.

"what do you guys want?" I say bored. Tsunami hits me on the head with a book that she brought while Karma just sighs.

"Look Titan, I know you don't trust someone in the pack, I don't know who but....I do know" I look at Tsunami surprised, why would she bring someone in the pack to that.

"Tsunami, you don't gotta be so blunt about it" Karma says laughter evident in her voice.

"You might just freak him out"

"Hay!"

"Hays for horses" Karma and Tsunami said at the same time.

"Girls" I say rolling my eyes.

"Yah I miss the spirit world" Firum says behind me.

"N would smacking you upside the head is you said that" Firum continues laughing.

"I have half a mind to smack you upside the head" I growl out to him. He just rolls his eyes and continues laughing. Something hits me on the head and I jump like a foot into the air.

"Titan, Titan, Tian,TIt, Tier," I hear someone continually say. It gets louder and further away from my name.

"What?" I say annoyed at them saying my name wrong.

"Oh Earth back to Titan" Tsunami says in a sarcastic voice. I just shrug my shoulders at them.

"Anyway was there another reason why you guys came into my room?" I ask still slightly annoyed, although Karma repeatedly putting her hair behind her ear was starting to distract me.

"Look Titan, You and Karma are on the same team. The day before they met us something freaky had happened." She looks to Karma who sighs and takes over talking.

"When my alpha got back home something freaky happened. The pack mindlink pretty much got infiltrated and I think the Alpha's did too. He got freaked out alarming all of us. Than someone said,

"I don't want to ruin my surprise yet, but you will know in due time." It had said inside all of our minds, I tried to stay calm, no one was able to connect to a packs mindlink unless one, they let them in, or two, they are part of the pack. I just hope that they were pulling a prank. The last thing this is ever said was

"Freedom such a fickle thing, Enjoy it while it lasts, Father..." I-I- I have a fear of who it is..." She looks down and I could tell she was trying to not cry. My thoughts about Mocha were starting to waver under this new evidence. Not even my kind could do that, and we have many powers.

"Titan what are your thoughts about this?" Tsunami asks a bit pointedly. It was like she was literally willing me to have my theories up and being told. I shake my black hair out of my eyes and go into my thoughts speaking them allowed after making sure the door was closed.

"So have you noticed any weird things revolving around Mocha. She seems more human than wolf even though she's only been around you for what, like three to four days. Mocha has also survived a freaking lightning strike! Yah, she may have had help from the Luna, but how much help did she receive?" I took a breather and thought about my next words.

"I know there are more examples and I can list them but the point of this is, "What if Mocha is the one you were looking for?"" Tsunami was giving me a hard look and I realized she wasn't very happy with my answer.

"Well you asked for It" I thought to myself in my head. karma was just looking at me. I don't think she expected me to say anything that made sense.

"UM Titan? she's probably looking at you because she can't believe you would say something like that. Really , who would blame this on a "normal" wolf." Tirum said to me in a more mocking tone. I growl at him but I know he is right. Karma seems to like Mocha, why would she tolerate me blaming her. Ok so this is getting confusing. I don't want to tell them my suspicions, yet I already have. I have no clue how they will take it and by the looks of it it won't be good. My blood was pumping and I felt like I was under inspection. It felt like an hour before either of them spoke.

"So, you think that.. Mocha, is related to... whatever is going on?" her words were careful but her voice didn't waver. I had a feeling that she was trying very hard not to whack me on the head. Tsunami was watching her with careful eyes waiting for her reaction to the whole thing. I was watching her too, I didn't know what was going through her head but I was afraid on what she might do to me. I noticed that when I first met her the smell of death and decay came flying at me. I didn't want to know how she got that smell but I can only guess that it's not something I would agree with. She looks up at me her eyes hollow, I shrink back a little from her dead gaze.

"So you know something about Mocha yet your still holding back" it wasn't a question persay, more of a statement. I shake my head tentatively.

"N-No I'm not, I said what I know" I knew I didn't sound convincing, and I probably reeked of lies but I couldn't give me and my family away.

"LIAR"
