14 Chapter Fourteen

"What's going on that y'all boys gotta cause a racket." I smile at Maple who smiles back.

"Uh uhhh, well" I think that was Darian, He seemed to not want to say what happened.

"Well, Darian and I were jesting each other while the girls ate their breakfast that isn't even finished because all of a sudden Maple decides to speak and make an awesome jest at Darian. She said and I quote " Darian if you are to mock Chris about his ego than you may want to get your's in check first" and we just stood there looking at her like dumb idiots. Right when we got sense of ourselves of what just actually happened Maple grabbed Carolina and raced her outside before we could do anything. Daddy was laughing and I couldn't breath because hearing it again was just too funny.

"C'mon let's go in there and pretend nuhthin happened. I eagerly joined and we tried our best to compose ourselves into two perfect little four year olds coming to finish breakfast. We make small talk all the way to the door and casually walk in.

"So crepes for breakfast or lunch, would you rather?" I asked her casually.

"Ooo hard one, umm crepes for..... breakfast!" She finishes excitedly, we had made it to the counter and were sitting down.

"Ok hit me" I ask prepared for more conversation. She pauses thinks and than looks at me.

"Would you rather jest at your brother and he retaliate or not jest at your brother and he doesn't retaliate" She asks this odd question that gets me thinking. They might retaliate and I feel like I know it'll be about something with our food.

"I would rather have a jest at my brother and he retaliate so I can make a bigger fool of him." I say smiling as I bite into my crepe. She nodded her head seeming to know I got her message. The males in the room were all silent as a butterfly. I was already eat my crepe so she started to. After a bit of silence I think to address the boys and daddy.

"If you boys want to retaliate you'll have to do better than spicy crepes, she likes spicy things and I know how to avoid it." The boys get a "darn it" face (even daddy(I frowned at him cause he had joined in)). I hear choking to my left and look at Maple, SHE WAS SPITTING OUT HER FOOD. Alarmed I got up to see what was going on.

"C-Carolina! I never said I like Spicy! I said I am allergic to stuff in spices so I can't have anything spicy!"I freeze my mind going into overdrive. We had actually never talked about spicey before I had just made something up.

"Boys!" I shriek at them in my four year old voice.

"You have to help her! It's all your fault!" I continue to shriek at them, egging them on. O. K,, so don't get me wrong I love my family and pack but this was too good to give up. They don't really know Maple so they can't tell if she's lying or not. They wouldn't even think to check because they'll be to busy worrying about Maple and her soon to be death. Yah I remember her talking about "one way she had pranked her family" it was a hilarious come back to her brother and it got him in trouble. So what happened was that her family was sitting down to eat diner when she was really little. She had never had spicy things yet so they had no clue. Well when they had fed her the spicy food she pretended to have an allergic reaction as retaliation to her brothers prank. Anyway, they all freaked out especially her brother because he had added more spice to her as a prank thing. The reason she had gone to great lengths for this prank was because her brother hadn't admitted to doing the prank and so she had gotten in trouble for the mess. (her mom found out) Well when he freaked out about what he did he admitted to the prank and how he was so sorry that he had put extra pepper in her food for a whole nother prank concluding where she would get in trouble. Now for a two year old to humans they would think she was a four year old. Anyway, after he admitted to doing what he'd done her mother got a bit upset to it all and when Maple revealed that she had just pulled a prank on her brother/family her mother was frustrated and disappointed in them both. Well that is before she realised that Maple was only two so what could she do and that Maple was smart and she had to respect that. I come back but of dreamland smiling when Titan and Tsunami came into the kitchen. UH OH, they are going to ruin everything. I try to figure out what to do but its too late..

"What's going on here!?' Titan looks around and the boys are going to answer.

~Titan's POV~

"What's going on here?!" I say looking around at the loud commotion. The alpha, his son, and another boy that I will plan on keeping away from my sister once I look at him are all racing around the kitchen saying incoherent words. Maple is on the floor gagging and the alpha's daughter is looking worriedly guilty at me. I don't understand it but I feel like there trying to kill my sister and I just happened to walk in on it. Yah soooo not going to happen. Tsunami whistles at the mess and goes to the alpha. She says something to him and he responds looking worriedly at my sister. Soon my sister flippin WINKS at the alpha! LIke WTH sister? He HAS a WIFE! But putting that aside I go to gather info from the guilty culprit. Tsunami beats me to it, like what the heck she's been "taking" over my role and inserting herself well with the pack.
