5 Chapter 5

Tugger looked at Macavity and smiled, not an evil smile but in a way, he used to look at him when they were little.

"Well how was that for you brother?" asked Tugger beaming with his smile that he gave the girl queens.

Munkustrap looked at Macavity confused.

"What I'm confused, what just happened?" asked Macavity getting up from the ground and holding his arm.

"What, you think I would betray you, I had to gain Scourge's trust so I could kill him, but there is a downside to this whole thing," said Tugger.

"Oh," said Macavity.

The Firestar spoke.

"Tugger killed Scourge, so he is now the leader of the Blood Clan," Firestar informed Macavity and everybody else in the junkyard.

"Well I guess I better be off then, I will warn you two to watch out from now on?" asked Tugger.

Firestar went to Munkustrap and Macavity.

"This war is far from over," said Firestar.

Tugger looked back at the junkyard and smiled and said to himself.

"The Jellicle tribe will be protected by the Blood Clan if need be."

Munkustrap looked at Macavity.

"What?" asked Macavity.

"How are we going to tell his fan club that he is gone," Munkustrap laughing.

"Ha, oh what about Bombalurina, who is going to tell her?" asked Macavity.

"I'm sure he has already told her," said Munkustrap.

The two brothers walked on top of the junkyard hill and saw Tugger and his clan go into the forest. Firestar looked at Munkustrap and Macavity and said,

"What are you and Macavity going to do now since all three of you are all leaders of something?" asked Firestar.

"I'm going to protect my tribe what are you and Gridddlebone going to?" asked Munkustrap.

"The same, protect the tribe," said Macavity.

"Well at least the Blood Clan will protect us and that is good," Firestar walking away.

"Macavity," said Griddlebone.

"Yes," said Macavity.

"Are you ready to head back to our place?" asked Griddlebone.

"Yes come on," said Macavity walking with her, and helping her, because she was really pregnant. Etcetera came up to Macavity.

"So where is Tugger?" asked Etcetera with a smile.

"Uh Tugger is not coming back, he might come and visit us but not staying, I'm sorry," said Macavity.

Etcetera looked at Macavity and tears started to roll down her face and said,

"He joined the Blood Clan," said Macavity.

Etcetera looked at Macavity and ran off. Macavity was helping Griddlebone inside the cave because she was so big that it looked like she was going to have twins, she was really pregnant. She was due anytime soon. Then Munkustrap came and said,

"Etcetera is still a kitten, she will move on when she gets older, don't feel guilty about her," said Munkustrap putting his hand on his shoulder.

"I won't, he will come back," said Macavity looking at Munkustrap.

"I don't know when you have control over a powerful clan like the Blood Clan you will change and grow cold like Scourge. I will admit we did pick on him when he was younger," Munkustrap looking deep into Macavity's eyes.

"Yeah we did," said Macavity.

"You have to remember the Blood Clan can trick Tugger and remind him of how we treated him in the past, he could betray us and if it came to that, we will kill him," said Munkustrap.

"Yes," said Macavity.

"Make sure you tell Tugger when you see him that the Blood Clan can do

terrible things to young kittens' mind," said Munkustrap.
