9 Star Gazing With the Love of Their Life

After a long and tiring morning filled with meetings and discussions on how to rebuild Etheria after the War, Catra was exhausted. She had to wake up early and spend the whole day without food or drinking because eating early in the morning made her nauseous.  Adora felt worried about her girlfriend, she hated how she couldn't help Catra with her hunger. After all the meetings it was near noon and they were finally dismissed. As Catra and Adora we're heading toward their room Catra's eye lids felt heavy and her limbs tired. Adora noticed she began to walk slower and turned to her.

"Catra what's wrong?" She said looking worried at her condition. Catra shook her head

"Nothing I'm fine just a little tired." She stumbled and leaned on the wall "just a little hungry too." She said grabbing her stomach as it growled. Adora grabbed her arm and put it around her shoulders so that she could help her walk.

"I'll help you get to the room and then I'll go get you food." She said determined to help Catra. Catra shook her head.

"I'm fine Adora." She strained not wanting Adora to do everything for her. "I'll get food for myself. Don't worry." She said trying to separate herself from Adora to keep her weight off her. Adora grabbed her waist tightly as to not let her go.

"Look here stubborn brat. You're my girlfriend I love you and I wanna bring you food while you rest. Even if you tried you wouldn't be able to stop me you're too weak." She said holding Catra close as they walked the corridors. "Besides" she said looking at Catra with a smile "you would do the same for me."  Catra blushed slightly and turned her head facing the wall mumbling a "fine." While grabbing Adora closely.

When they arrived to the room Adora carefully set Catra down at the bed. Catra flopped down and spread her body to find a level of comfort that she had missed the the whole morning. This is perfect she thought closing her eyes the only thing that would make this better would be food and being in Adoras arms. "I'll be back Catra" Adora  said turning her back to walk to find food. Catra quickly sat up and grabbed her jacket.

"Lay down with me." She said not caring if she was hungry she was more adora deprived than food deprived. Adora smiled and turned to face her. She bent down to meet Catras gaze.

"I would love to stay" she said pecking Catras lips softly "but you need food." She said pecking Catras lips a Second time Catras eyes pouted and she frowned

"But I wanna cuddle" Catra said pouting. Adora smiled at the cuteness of her beloved. She loved how Catra wanted to cuddle more than she wanted to eat but she wasn't going to give in. Catra needed food and it was her responsibility to get her some, plus she wouldn't let anyone else other than Adora care for her like this.

"We can cuddle after kitty." Adora said gently holding Catras face, giving her forehead a loving kiss before standing and leaving the room. Catra sighed and laid back down closing her eyes.

Sleepy...but Adora.... but sleepy.. was the last thing that Catra thought before she drifted off into a deep and tired slumber. When Adora came back with a tray full of food she saw her lover fast asleep. She chuckled with loving eyes. "So cute" she whispered. She placed her tray on the desk and crawled into bed. She knew that if she woke Catra up to eat, Catra wouldn't eat, she would probably tear Adora apart for waking her up from such a needed nap. So Adora decided to just let her eat after she's had her nap. Catra felt Adora in her sleep and curled up against her. Adora wrapped her arms around Catra affectionately and made Catra the cute little spoon. Adora closed her eyes and slept in the comfort of the person she loved the most.

As the sun began to set, Catra woke up to a pair of arms wrap around her. She reached to touch the hands that embraced her Adoras hands she recognized and calmed down. She turned to face the love of her life and grinned. Adoras sleeping face was the cutest thing ever Catra declared in her mind. She didn't know what time it was but she knew she wasn't going to be able to sleep anymore. She still decided to close her eyes and enjoy Adora. Catra cuddled closer to Adoras chest and inhaled her scent. She was her favorite thing in the world. She loved everything about Adora. She loved her embrace especially, in the horde they would sometimes, rarely, sleep together like this. Sure, they slept together but Catra normally was at the foot of their bed and not right next to Adora. One things for sure Catra thanked the Rebellion for buffing Adoras arms. In the horde Adoras arms were skinny and when she left Catra noticed them grow into thick muscular arms that Catra always wanted to touch, but couldn't because they were enemies. Adoras arms tightening around Catra made her snap out of her Adoras muscles admiration thinking. She looked up to be greeted by a pair of Icy blue eyes and a smile.

"Good morning Catra" She said smiling. Catra smirked but on the inside she felt her insides melt and her tail twirled at the sound of Adora's groggy voice.

"It's definitely not morning dummy" she said smiling at Adora. Adora rolled her eyes

"You know what I mean." She said gently head butting Catra. Catra giggled and hugged Adora. They stayed comfortly in each other's arms until Catra began to squirm. "What's wrong?" Adora asked moving one of her arms to prop herself up. Catra laid flat on the bed

"I'm bored and I can't go back to sleep. Stupid nap. Also I'm hungry." She said staring at the ceiling. Adora sat up

"Actually I have food!" She said getting up and brought the tray to the bed. Catra looked at it and grabbed a bread.

"My savior" she said finally eating something in the whole day. Adora dug in a cookie.

"You know what we can do?" Adora said finishing her cookie and wiping the crumbs off the bed. Catra turned

"What?" She said biting another piece of bread. Adora grinned and instantly created her plan.

"You'll see." She said getting up and grabbing the tray. "Get the blanket." She told Catra. Catras face scrunched up and began wondering what they could possibly to do late at night. She blushed when her mind came to a conclusion but she still stood up prepared for anything and grabbed the blanket. Adora held the tray in one hand to grab Caras hand.  She led her out of the room and began walking. Catra didn't know where they were going, she still hadn't figured out where everything in the castle was. Sometimes she'd walk in rooms she'd never knew existed.

After what seemed to be an eternity of walking in corridors and going up stairs, Adora stopped in front of a door. She turned to Catra, smiling. "Ready?" She asked giggling a little when she saw Catras confused face. She opened the door and it revealed to be a roof top where you could see all of the stars that they had grown up missing.

"Woaah" Catra said stepping out and admiring the beauty of the stars with widened eyes. Adora smiled at Catras reaction. She set down the tray and grabbed the blanket from Catras arms. She laid the blanket down and sat down. Catra was still standing there admiring the stars not even realizing that her jaw was dropped.

"Hey" Catra snapped out of her daze and looked down. Adora pat to the spot next to her and Catra sat down and cuddled close to Adora to keep warm. Adora placed the tray in the little space between their legs. "It's beautiful isn't it?" Adora said smiling and looking at Catra. Putting an arm on her waist. Catra  nodded

"I can't believe we missed this our whole lives." She said looking up and placing her arm on Adoras waist. Adora nodded

"It wasn't the only amazing thing we missed most of our lives" she said turning to look at Catra. Catra slightly blushed at her comment knowing what she had meant. Adora leaned her head on Catras shoulder and sighed happily "I'm so happy with you Catra." She said smiling, unafraid to express her feelings. Catra beamed and leaned her head on Adoras.

"It took us the end of the world to confess. How dumb are we?" She said lightly chuckling. Adora nodded "you've made me the happiest person in the universe Adora." She said linking her hand with Adoras. "I love you more than anything and everything." She softly said so that only Adora could hear. Adora giggled

"I love you too Catra! So much I'll say it to the world!" Adora declared. Catra scoffed

"How are you gonna do that?" She said. Adora moved so that she was facing Catra.

"I love you" she said gently. Catra stared at her with confusion

"I thought you were going to say it to the whole world?" She said questioning Adoras actions. Adoras face turned from a loving one to a grinning one. She leaned in closely so that there was only a small space between their lips.

"I just did." She said closing the space and kissing Catra with her complete love and adoration. Catra kisses back and they told each other everything they loved about each other with a single gesture but that's all they needed. When they couldn't breath anymore they separated and connected their foreheads.
