4 Morning Cuddles and Kisses

It was early morning in Brightmoon and one couple were still in bed fast asleep. Adora was the first to wake up, she watched as her favorite person breathed slowly and evenly, her calm face making Adora giddy with glee. She never knew how one person could possibly make her so happy. She loved how Catra slept, how her face slowly lit up when she saw something she was interested in, how she could make Catra easily flushed, how Catra only showed her soft and affectionate side to Adora, She loved everything about Catra. She was so caught up with enjoying Catras presence, she didn't notice when Catras beautiful eyes fluttered open and was staring at her lover. Adora was so lost looking at her face with a great big smile.

"What are you staring and smiling at you creep?" Catras voice brought back Adora from love land. Adora looked at her beautiful eyes and smiled wide.

"I was admiring your beauty." Adora said with a slight blush still grinning. Catra blushed and rolled her eyes.

" What a weirdo " Catra said with a smile. Adora pulled her closer and hugged her tightly, Catras tail wrapped closely around one of Adora's legs. Their legs tangled together, Catras arms circled around Adora's waist hugging her as if it was their last embrace and buried her face in Adora's chest. They stayed like that for a while inhaling each others scents. They enjoyed each others company, their embrace, they loved how being with each other made them feel safe and secure and they felt how time just stood still when they were together.

"I love you so much" Adora said ruffling her face in Catra's soft hair with a big grin on her face. "You make me feel like melted gold." Catra scoffed and moved her head so she could see Adora's face.

"What does that even mean?" Catra said smirking looking at Adora. Catra wanted to give in to her desire to kiss Adora and never stop, but she wanted to tease her with her strange sayings that made her feel so happy inside.  Adora shrugged and made a goofy face.

"Just felt right?" Adora said propping an arm up to look at Catra better, Catra also propped an arm to look at Adora. she smiled at her with such a love in her eyes. "You're beautiful" Adora said staring at Catra, her face unable to stop smiling. Catra snorted and looked down blushing.

"What-whatever" she said letting her arm fall and her face hit the bed hiding her red face. Adora sat up and pulled Catras face up to look at her. Catra grinned and moved to sit on Adora's lap, smiling and looking at the person who she loved the most. Adora wrapped her arms around Catras waist and pulled her closer to her. Catra happily complied and came closer. She put her face in Adora's neck and hugged Adora's back. "I wish we could stay like this forever" Catra said whispering, afraid to let anyone but Adora see her vulnerable and loving side. Adora held Catra like a fragile glass wanting to cherish the moment forever

"Me too" Adora said rubbing Catras short fluffy hair, listening to her light purring. 

"I love you too Adora I always will." Catra said quickly. Adora chuckled and scratched her ear wanting to listen to her purrs. Catra pulled apart to face Adora. She was surprised at the sudden action.

"What-" Adora started but was cut off when Catra's lips collided with hers. She was taken surprised, but didn't reject her kiss. Instead she melted into it and accepted it warmly. When they parted for air, Catra began pecking kisses on different parts of Adora's face while she giggled. "Cut it out" She said between giggles. Catra kept kisses every inch of her face.

"I'm not going to stop. You are getting a kiss for every second we were apart." She said continuing to plant kisses on Adora's face, neck and jaw. Adora giggled and grinned. Her insides turned to mush and she was filled with complete joy. Catra laughed and stopped to take in Adora's beauty, she beamed a brightness that made Adora feel blinded by love. Adora looked at her with such adoring eyes. They looked forward to their future with each other and nothing could ever stop them from being together.
