5 Closer

It was Movie night in Brightmoon. Queen Glimmer has decided to watch a scary movie to start a tradition every Friday. Catra and Adora were passing through the hallways heading to the movie room.

"Adoraaaaaa! Do we even have to go to the movie? Why don't we spend the night cuddling?" Catra whined holding on to Adoras arm as if her life depended on it. Adora sighed and looked at her loved one.

"Catra it's just one movie. We can cuddle afterward" Catra rolled her eyes

"Ugggggggh but I don't like scary movies!" Catra exclaimed slowly walking along side Adora. All she wanted was to be with Adora alone so that they could cuddle and she could listen to Adora say sweet things to her. Adora looked at Catra with teasing eyes.

"Is it because you're a scaredy cat?" She said stopping to face Catra with a grin. She rolled her eyes and scoffed puffing her chest and let go of Adoras hand.

"As if! I just don't like scary movies cause it's frustrating watching such pointless things happen." She said turning and facing the wall. Adora put a hand on her shoulder and made Catra face her. Giving her a loving smile.

"I'll be by your side the whole movie, I'll even let you come to the bathroom stall with me if I need to pee okay?" She said smiling. Catras face turned to happy then weirded out.

"I don't want to go to the bathroom with you dummy" she said scoffing but she smiled and held Adoras hand. "Okay" she said softly facing Adora. Adora nodded and smiled facing the person she loved the most. Adora began to walk to the Movie room with Catra walking beside her happily.

—————The Scary Movie—————

They stood in front of the movie room door.

"Let's sit in the back Adora" Catra said holding Adoras hand tightly. Adora turned to face Catra and gave her a confused face. Catra rolled her eyes "so that we can- you know" she said blushing and turning away "so that we can cuddle" she said gritting her teeth. Adora smiled at Catra and nodded her head.

"Alrighty, We'll sit in the back" Adora said opening the door leading Catra in by the hand.

"Hey guys! Grab a seat, the movies about to start!" Glimmer said leaning in Bows arms on the floor in the front. Adora nodded and headed toward the back, and sat down with Catra all the way in the back.

When the movie started Glimmer turned all the lights off and Catra secretly got closer to Adora and wrapped her Tail around Adoras waist. Adora smiled warmly and cuddled next to her girlfriend wrapping her arm on Catras shoulders pulling her closer.

When the jump scares began Catra quickly lost her edge and Buried her face into Adoras chest. Adora held her tightly and made sure her hands covered her girlfriends eyes so she wouldn't see the scary parts.

When Catra built up the courage to look toward the screen she saw gore and violence. Her ears flapped downward and she held Adora closer but forced herself to watch. Adora held her closely wanting to spare Catra from the fear she's facing. She knew Catra didn't respond well to scary movies and she even tried to stop Glimmer from playing it by saying Adora was afraid of scary movies, but Glimmer said she'd have Catra to comfort her.

"If you don't want to watch, I'll make an excuse to get us out Catra" Adora whispered into Catras ear. Catra shook her head.

"I got this Adora" she said patting Adoras leg. Adora frowned and rubbed Catras back.

"Okay she said softly. Admiring how the love of her life was so strong.

———————After The Movie—————

Adora held Catra closely as they walked to their room. Catra has flinched at every shadow and was practically being carried by Adora.

"I told you not to watch the movie Catra" she said half carrying the alert feline who was frantically looking around. She frowned and looked at Adora.

"You didn't think I could take it?" Catra said seriously. Adora shook her head

"That's not what I meant, Catra" Adora responded cupping Catras face with her hands and bringing it closer to touch her forehead with Cartras. "I meant that I don't want you to get nightmares" she said quietly running her hand through Catras fluffy hair. Catra smiled

"I'm not gonna get nightmares Adora. I'll be in your arms where I always feel safe." Catra said as softly as she could. Adora smiled

"Would you prefer She-Ras muscles tonight or mine?" She said grinning. Catra rolled her eyes and smiled

"Yours idiot" she said grabbing Adoras waist and pulling her closer to fill in the gap. They kissed as long as they could. A kiss so full of love and security until they had to break for air "see? I feel better already" she said wrapping her tail around Adoras waist. Adora smiled. She was so happy she was a safe place for Catra. Catra was her home, her everything. Spending four years without her had been the worst years she's ever experienced but the years that followed those had no doubt been the happiest she's ever been. "Let's get some sleep Adora" she said pulling apart. Adora quickly grabbed Catras waist and pulling her close

"One more kiss" she said almost whispering as she smiled and pulled Catra closer until there was no space. Catra felt euphoric as Adora showed her love in the loudest way possible. One time she even screamed that she loved Catra in a crowded room and it made her so embarrassed that she had to walk out of the room. They pulled apart and Catra looked Adora with such eyes of adoration. Adora smiled and shook her head "I'm crazy in love with you Catra" she said grinning. Catra blushed lightly and giggled

"You're such a dork Adora" she said smiling widely. Catra hugged Adora and buried her face in her neck. "I'm in love with you too Adora" she whispered so that only Adora could hear "I always will be" she finished holding Adora as close as she could, afraid to lose her again.

This is terribly written, but I hope you all enjoyed it and I'll continue to enjoy writing about this beautiful couple. I literally start crying of joy because I had been shipping them since season 1. Stay safe out there and stay smart.
