2 Soul Split

''Mum, mum. I want those two! Yes, the one with silver fur and the chubby one. Can we adopt them? Please, please!'' A small girl is begging her mother.

Some people come today to adopt us as a typical human family won't take care of more than two cats in general. It had been three months since we were born and it's time.

Cloud is quite a charming cat, a short hair with silver fur and black spots. She plays a lot and stares curiously at everything, her first life took place in an ancient world and not a modern one so it's understandable.

Bacon, the chubby ginger short hair is as chubby as always, every time you look at him, he is either eating or sleeping. He is working so hard and he claimed ''to use this life to relax and play''.

Bluetail himself is now a handsome cat with a smooth short white coat, long and agile legs. There is a big black spot covering his left eye. Also three small blue stripes have appeared at the end of his tail.

We have all grown up.

Except Water.

She died, her physical constitution was too bad, lung problem, heart problem and she also can't breath normally.

''I guess it isn't that bad, although a life was wasted, in the bright side, she can now cultivate in a better planet, reaching Body Tempting is easy anyway.'' Thought Bluetail. He is just used to it, a lot of his siblings died in the first few weeks in his previous lives too, and more after they broke through the next realm.

''Alright brother'' Cloud has been staring at the human's wallet all this time. She thought knocking it off the table is really fun and the confusing human is funny.

After that, Bluetail falls asleep.

Cat cultivate by sleeping. Yes, by sleeping. Their soul will automatically absorb soul energy in the air to increase their cultivation. It still absorbs soul energy while cats stay awake too but soul energy absorbed this way can't be used to cultivate and only to refill the expanded energy. Thus cats will sleep more and more when they are reaching the end of their live.

Bluetail is at his ninth life, which is also his last life in Mortail Realm.

There is an old saying circulates in every planets: "A cat has nine lives. For three he plays, for three he strays, and for the last three he stays''. It's true, but only limited to Mortail Realm.

Mortail Realm is divided into three smaller stages named: Soul Building Stage, Soul Tempting Stage, Soul Splitting Stage.

A cat after his first born has a life span of three years. He will gain another three years after reaching Soul Tempting and another three after reaching Soul Splitting stage. So his soul will dissipated and he won't reincarnated if either he fails to reach Soul Building Stage in his first three years, fails to reach Soul Tempting Stage before six years old and fail to reach Soul Splitting Stage before age of nine.

A cat is officially step in Soul Building Stage when he accumulated four (2*2) soul points, almost every cats can achieve this after their first year not to mention the three years limit. Unless they are unlucky like Water and died too young every life. This stage is to get familiar with the cultivation concepts and mechanics so cats usually just have fun and doing whatever they want thus the ''for three he plays'' in the expression.

The Soul Tempting Stage required sixteen (4*4) soul points. Cats in this stage need to venture out, get experience and discover the world like other species, other cats, understand emotions and one's nature like honest, sinister, cruel, good, scheming and so on. This is what '' for three he strays'' means.

The last stage of Mortail Realm is Soul Splitting Stage, sixty four (8*8) points was needed, this is Bluetail's current realm. To break through the next realm, two hundred and fifty six (16*16) soul points are needed. Cats in this stage spent most of their time sleeping in general, they prefer stay at one place and cultivate thus ending the expression with '' for the last three he stays''.

Bluetail isn't an exception from this. Apart from daily need and meals, he spent every moment to sleep. His one hundred accumulated points isn't even half of two hundred and fifty six points needed and this is already his last live! One can imagine how desperate he is.

Luckily, heaven is fair, Soul Splitting Stage cattivators have an extremely useful ability called Soul Split. With this, a cat can split his soul from his body when he sleeps, his soul can then search for a place with higher concentration of soul energy to cultivate, or simply just to sightseeing. The soul is able to pass through objects and can travel with incredibly high speed, as fast as an airplane, very practical. Bluetail can visit Bacon whenever he wants too, but it's kind of useless as only souls form can interact or talk with another souls form, so he can't talk with Bacon nor Bacon will see him anyway.

Bluetail is currently lying on top of a temple roof in Hiroshima city. The soul energy concentration here is the strongest he could find after three months. According to other cat souls cultivating there, hundred thousands of people and animals died at Hiroshima as an atomic bomb was dropped. It is quite near his current home too so he comes here to cultivate everyday.

''Hey Bluetail, you are cultivating again? How hard working. Want to visit Old Red the last time? He is about to die soon, a pity he couldn't make it to Immortail Realm.'' A smoke colored cat greeted Bluetail. He is quite talented to have reached Soul Splitting after six lives only, he has a lot of time left so he naturally more relaxed when it comes to cultivation.

'' Hey Stone, Old Red is about to die? He is a nice guys, showed me around the city when I first visited Hiroshima. Let's visit him then, taking a break sometime will clear the mind, maybe it will help cultivate faster.'' Nodded Bluetail.

The duo soon reached the high class area in the center of Hiroshima.
