3 Old Ginger

Hiroshima is still recovering from 1945 event, but it's already almost there. Tall glass buildings started to rise, stores are being build, there are people everywhere and everyone appeared to be extremely busy. Thank to the dynamic life style and the government effort, business are thriving and with it the increase of high class citizens.

High class area is filled with private properties and there isn't as many store as the city center, therefore it's quite a peaceful and unpopular area, suitable to cultivate. Old Ginger lives with a rather rich owner even among the high class citizens. His house was huge and designed to be unique and modern by a grand architect, the garden is filled with greenery and a pond, there are koi fishes swimming happily and lazily around. A perfect atmosphere to cultivate.

Despite so Old Ginger still failed to make the final push, maybe just the soul energy concentration is too thin.

''How do we contact him? We are still in soul form and cant interact or talk with him. You surely have a way or you wouldn't have invited me''. Inquired Bluetail.

'' I actually live next to his house so I can physically get here, just wait me a bit''. Chuckled Stone before he disappeared into thin air.

A few minute later, a smoke colored cat nimbly climbed over the fence and got into the house through an opened window. Then two soul forms walked over.

''Haha, I am already close to death and people still come for a visit. I can die in peace now''. An old ginger cat said with a smile, but inside his eyes, there are only sadness and unwillingness. Old Ginger is truly pitied.

''You used to show me around the city so it's normal for me to return the favor. What is your plan now?'' Asked Bluetail.

'' My day is numbered so there is nothing much I can do. I am just touring the world now and sneak out for some delicacy every day, it isn't that bad''. Said Old Ginger.

''Ehem, gentlemen, I am not asking Bluetail to visit Ginger for no reason. There maybe a chance for us to gain a huge amount of points or even breakthrough the next realm''. Stone lightly cough and said.

''WHAT?'' Bluetail and Old Ginger asked at the same time, this is no trivial matter. Both of them are at their last life, Old Ginger is about to die while Bluetail needs a huge amount of points. This must be the reason for Stone to share this with them.

'' Haha I know you are a good lad and won't forget your brother in arm''

''Quickly tell us the details''

''Calm down, I know how important this matter to the two of you so I invited you both. My owner works in history and archaeology field, he and his crew have been working at an Egypt archaeology site recently and just returned yesterday. One of his paper talked about Bastet.''

''Apparently Bastet is a female cat god in human mythology, according to the picture in his paper, she has a cat head and human body. You both probably know what does this mean''. Stone continued.

''Expert in Immortail Realm! She must be in Soul Domain Stage to be able to change her body to that of a human''. Exclaimed Old Ginger, this information was known to every one as it's one of the basic sealed knowledge. Sealed knowledge was locked in the second puzzle slot by their family clan.

''Exactly, further more, the paper also talked about Bastet's Temple. It is said that the temple was built by human, but in my opinion, it was built by Bastet herself or at least she should have left something there. I am not entirely sure though''. Said Stone.

Bluetail and Old Ginger are both silence, digesting the shocking information they just received.

After a while, Old Ginger is the first to break the silence: '' If what you speculated is true, then this is a huge opportunity for us''.

''Indeed it is, however I am still skeptical about this. A temple is huge and should have been discovered for a long time already so any opportunity inside should had been taken as well. And beside, what can possibly help us? Mortail Realm is all about personal cultivation after all''. Said Bluetail.

''That's true, but we are at the end of the straw already, I think it's worth a try to go there and check it out''. Old Ginger pondered.

''I am curious about this as well so I will go too. Bluetail, are you coming with us?'' Asked Stone.

Judging the pro and cons, Bluetail also decided to go as he has nothing to lose anyway.

The date of departure is set at the end of next month and the destination is Egypt.

''It takes around ten hours to travel from Japan to Egypt according to Stone, then a few days to explore the temple. I will need to make some arrangements for my physical body'' Thought out loud Bluetail.

Fast forward, it's departure day.

''Cloud, I will go out for some days, don't worry. The human will freak out though so be prepare''. Said Bluetail.

''Where are you going? I want to go too, stay at home is no fun, I don't have anything to play, the human had bought a box to store his wallet so I can't push it off the table anymore''. Said Cloud.

'' No, you stay at home and cultivate, it's impossible for you to go anyway, it's only reachable in soul form''. Bluetail then jumps out of the kitchen windows.

He walked to an abandoned building and climb on the wooden ceiling structure. There is a big crack on the wall next it which can fit about three cats. He lies there comfortably and close his eyes.

A cat can put his body in comatose state for about a month without food or drink, he will however become thinner the longer he stay in comatose state till his body can't take it anymore, which is about a month maximum with Bluetail physical body. After that he needs double the amount of time spent in comatose to recuperate, so two months in this case. His body will be in an extremely vulnerable state so he had to place it in an abandoned place and out of any possible danger.

Bluetail fell asleep as his soul left his body for an exciting adventure.
