"Isn't Bastet a little too poor? I know she is not an important member but her family should be rich right? Her innate ability is rare!"
"There is nothing useful. I am getting the short end of the stick here." Lamented Bluetail.
"Oh well, what is the use of spell, I will be dead in a few years if I can't reach Immortail Realm anyway. Let's find another spot to cultivate, Hiroshima isn't cut it." Thought Bluetail. His total soul point is only 100 at the moment, he needs more than double this amount to advance, not to mention the puzzle bottle neck at the end.
Bluetail laid down on the sofa for his daily cultivation routine. Nobody bother him now as the small human is in vacation and the big humans are too busy to pay attention to him. He felt asleep as his soul left his body.

In a blink of an eye, ten years flashed by. Bluetail continues with his sleeping, I mean cultivate routine every day. He spent quite some time trying to find a better cultivation spot on Earth and he indeed found some new locations. But they were just a little bit better while a lot farther than Hiroshima thus he still decided to cultivate at the good old spot.
"Why are you trying so hard? Look at Bubble Tea, he is just enjoying life now, good food, good sex, good life." A cat named Laptop is talking with Bluetail while pointing his paw at a chubby old cat near them. That old cat Bubble Tea is eyeing a roasted duck hanging on a hook of the Chinese restaurant in front of them.
"I once swear to become the strongest and also I died so much so I am afraid of death now." Replied Bluetail. Sometimes he wonders why does he try so hard every day? His motivation worn out at some point and he even gave up for a short duration.
"I guess it's my oath that day that kept me moving forward huh." Though Bluetail. It is raining and he felt somewhat melancholic today. It was raining the day they talked about Bastet ruin too. He met a lot of other cats during these years but they just remain acquaint instead of friends like Stone and Old Ginger. He has issues trusting other after that event.
What he didn't tell other is afraid of death and keeping the oath are just bullshit. He wants to move forward because he wants power. Other may not know, but he knows what is power look like from the battle between the two Immortail Realm cats. Another reason is he wants to know why Bastet died and he is fine, what saved him and why, maybe he himself is special? He was always a curious and cautious cat and having something so important about him unknown made him felt stressed and unsecured.
"Hey, want to go somewhere fun? There is nothing to see here anymore." Asked Laptop. Bubble Tea already successes the steal and he is now being chased by the restaurant employee, but he will get away soon. It's only fun when he fails and come back with a dejected look, guess it's not today eh.
"I will pass, I need to cultivate." Said Bluetail. He always has a headache when he thinks about his cultivation speed. He only has 120 soul points now, so only 20 points increase after ten years, it was a pitiful amount. No wonder most cats on Earth gave up and just enjoy life.
"You can take a break from time to time you know. C'mon. We will go play some trick on these old cat monks. It will be fun."
"Those old cat monks pray all days, they need some fun too, let's go help them out!" Said Laptop.
Bluetail hesitated for a while then decided to go too, having fun is necessary and beneficial in the long run too. The duo then headed to a famous local temple.
Daisho-in temple is a famous temple in Hiroshima. It was said that the temple had connection with the Imperial family and was the place to pray for the peace and security of the nation. The temple isn't hidden in a deep valley like people usually think but pretty easy to access.
The temple entrance is a big traditional Japanese arch like the symbolic monument of Hiroshima city but was built to show various statues. The most eye-catching statues are two huge top-naked guardians standing on the two sides of the entrance. They look powerful with their muscular body while having a celestial air with a ribbon wrapping around them. One can see a long stone stair behind the entrance leading to the temple. The whole atmosphere is ancient and serene.
"Going right through the main door to cause trouble is my favorite!" Laugh Laptop.
The duo Bluetail and Laptop passed the entrance and heading to the temple. What Bluetail didn't know, is this simple fun trip is a major turning point in his life.
